Better than Ratchet

The series of Sly games remind me of a simpler version of the Ratchet and Clank games. The graphics and storyline are a bit more cartoonish, but Sly tends to lean more on the problem solving side and less on the violent shoot em up side. Though my son loves both series of games, I think the Sly series is a bit more kid friendly.

This is a great game. If you have Sly Cooper and The Thievius Raccoonus you have to get this one. I just ordered Sly Cooper 3.

We had the 1st and 3rd version of this game, and my 13 year old really wanted the 2nd. He was thrilled with it, and plays it more than any other of his new games. He says it's great!

I have been reading some reviews and it seems none of them say what you actually do. You play the game as Sly Cooper, Murray the hippo and Bentely the turtle a thieving gang who, like all thieves want to aquire money lots and lots of money. Sly and his gang go to many places in the world India,France, etc. and steal from rich people, you basically do small jobs and then a really fun heist that will usually go wrong. you end up loving the characters and even the villains. some parts are slash and hack or sit and think. all and all its a very fun game and is worth all the money you have to pay.

This is a game you will never forget! I love this game! It is the best game in my house. I play it all the time. My cousin had this game and every time i went over to his house he was always playing it. He had all three of the games, sly, sly 2, and sly 3. But he traded his playstation 2 so he can't play them now. he said to me that he missed playing them. So I saw this game for sale at a store and i said i am so getting this. He came over to my house a couple days ago and he played that the whole time he was there! The best thing is that no matter how many times you played it, it's always fun! I am getting Sly 3 here on Amazon today!

Sly 2 - Band of Theives - more fun features!

I loved Sly Cooper and the Thevious Raccoonus so naturally when I finished the game I purchased Sly 2 Band of Theives. This game has a lot of cool new features - you can play as Sly, Murry or Bently (in fact you have to since each charater has different 'strengths' to help you. Plus, you can buy special moves using money/stuff you collect throughout the game.

I did however prefer the layout of Sly Cooper and the Thevious Raccoonus....each level in that game was varied more so the game was always fun and different. Sly 2 had the basic same levels almost....it was very repetitive in what needed to be accomplished.

One of the best games for the PS2!

This is one of the most entertaining and original games on the PS2. Great fun for all ages I just can't recommend this game highly enough.

I got this game for cristmas and didn't think I would like it, but its great. Sly 2 is way better than the first one because you get to be Bently and Murry not just Sly. Also you get to use two player.
