From PONG, to BREAKOUT, to ARKANOID, to RICOCHET. This is the evolution line of the Rebounding game genre. And with RICOCHET: INFINITY it has reached its apex.
As with most species evolving amongst greater, more ferocious and more aggressive competition, the RICOCHET series have developed a highly addictive gameplay and the ability to offer GREAT FUN!
The concept is simple enough: move your paddle left and right to make the ball rebound and break all the obstacles of each level. Twists? Of course there are twists! Your paddle can get larger (or shorter) and it can acquire special abilities (from magnetism to sharpshooting accuracy); moreover, the bouncing ball can also be up- or downgraded (depending on what falling bonuses you catch).
The levels are exceptionally well designed, the sound sets the mood for "just one more level" - and there is even a growing community from which one can download extra level-packs for FREE!
This is an excellent example of what has come to be known as Casual Gaming: small, resource-flexible games that are fun for the whole family.
It would not be a bad idea to download the 60-min trial version from a casual games site, such as REFLEXIVE (you can Google it), and decide for yourself whether this is indeed your cup of tea.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This game is so much FUN!!!! I LOVE it!! It is addicting!! It is good eye excersize (for us "boomers" esp.) There are what seem like "thousands" of levels to play (I STILL have'nt put a dent into the # completed) I play several games at night before I finally MAKE myself go to bed! I have the earlier Richochet games, but this is by far the best (to me) and I can't say enough good things about it!
