Not worth the money if this is for an adult

Well, I am a 50 yr old woman who loves her DS. Hubby bought it for me last year as a gift and I have yet to put it down, heehee. I love playing puzzle games, card games and all the brainiac games. The graphics are important to me and also the sound and this game has good graphics. Sound is just okay. This game started out with me having a blast. But then the next day, I realized that the riddles constantly repeated themselves. When you finally accumulate 10 tickets, you have a chance to play to exit the fun house. The door opens and it looks like you are leaving. You expect more now and everything builds up inside and then, NOTHING. The game starts all over again with those repetitive riddles, etc. I'm trading it in for something else. If you're buying this for a child, then I'm sure they would love this game. I recommend ages 9+. You do have to know how to read and follow the riddle along with the pictures on the DS screen.
Don't do it !

I wish the first review was there before I had bought my 2 days before. Game is not worth the money. Like the first reviewer I am 48 and love the puzzles game and games that make you think. This is not one of them. I'd love to return it. How does one trade it in?

I was excited to get this game since I am only into puzzles games etc. I played it for 2 hours and then everything goes back to square one... As long as you got 10 tickets, you are done. It took me an hour to get the 10 tickets and then each section has only 3 to 4 new riddles, after that, you are doing same riddle all over again. Its not worth the money to have this game, way too short.

This game, like the book series, is made for young children. It is intended for kids 5 to 10. It is not made for adults. I think the number of stars for this game is deceptive because some people reviewed the game as if it were for adults...it's not. There are plenty of games for adults but very few for kids in this age range on the market. My kids loved it and I found the puzzles fun enough to do, once.

The idea is interesting. I bought this for a gift. I don't have a DS, so I cannot try it out myself. (I"m writing this to get Amazon off my back about submitting a review. Damn, they're getting obnoxious!)
Great for kids, fun for adults (once)

As a collector of the PC (computer I SPY) games, I would have to rate this version a little lower (only 4 stars) than the computer I SPY games (which I would rate with 5 stars, easily). It is not as challenging graphically nor on a strategic level. I'm sure it is a wonderful game for younger early reading age children, but it only holds its intrigue for an adult mildly and only once! Still, I will have to admit that it definitely holds it's entertainment value for short periods of time - the colors are great, too!
a little disappointed

Our 5 year old got this with his Nintendo DS for Christmas. We love the I Spy PC games, so thought this would be a fun and educational game for his DS. Our major problem is that our 5 year old does not read yet, and the I Spy part of the game does not have a feature that reads the clues like the PC version does. He will certainly enjoy it more once he can read - and there are some challenging sorting games as well that he will enjoy when he is a little older.

It's a pretty fun game, although I was a little disappointed that it didn't take me very long to beat.
