WWII Arcade Game

If you are looking for a flight combat sim-this isn't it. You're better off still playing Ace Combat 4 or waiting for Ace Combat 5. This game is definitely a renter. Wish I hadn't bought it.

as you can see i gave this game one star this is since theres only the option of one star theres no zeros allowed. this is a simplistic disappointment that is not only toy like in play but also suprisingly difficult to load into your computer despite its absoulutely horrible graphics and its cartoon like play.I cant possibly in good faith reccommend this garbage to any one with a functioning brain stem

Everyone has game this game a bad score saying oh its not as good as Secret weapons over the luftfafa. But this is for the consoles so they made it more arcade style. This game is awesome the controls are responsive and tight the graphics are very good and there is alot fun to be had so with 30 missions and 20 different planes how can you go wrong. The missions stretch from england to russian to japan to germany its self. So if you like flying games love WWII or love blowing up stuff pick up the game!!!!!!!!!!

like i said u guys are full of bs! this is the best game i have ever palyed! Who cares if u cant do a barrel roll, atlest u can fly! the scenery is great, U CAN fly zeros(also known as zekes) and u dont have to shoot down 48 planes in that mission, thats a load of CRAP, u just blow at this game!

in conclusion the rest of u are full of (...), THIS GAME RULES!!!

I just want to add. Don't listen to these clowns that say theres no B25s, you just gotta play til they become unlocked. Nowadays you can just type in a cheat code and skip to the end well keep in mind that such a thing did not exist on the old DOS machines.

You get a manual, a quick reference guide and 2 CD-ROMs containing a total of 3 titles: "Normandy in Flames", "Japs Ahoy" and "Tri-plane: Flight School" (a demo of an improved title). At one point a minature farting Jabba the Hut comes out and Dances a jig. Now, will somebody tell me what I did to activate that???

I expected more from Lucas entertainment, If I could give it -5 stars I would. The game has twitchy controls, you can't even roll your plan. The game finally lost me when I had to defend the Yorktown from wave after wave of bombers; I shot down 48 enemy planes and still lost. Please don't make the same mistake I did, pass on this game.

I own approximately 20 ps2 games and I've never written a review before. This game was so bad and I was so infuriated at how terrible it was that I felt a civic duty to inform buyers to beware. The creators of this game must have never seen or played some of the more professional titles or their budget was so low that they couldn't afford the proper programmers to get the job done. I deem AC4 as the benchmark for flight simulation games and if it is a ten on a scale of one to ten then this title deserves a zero. I'm stunned at how many positive reviews this title received.....These players must be brain dead or else they work for the company that produced this garbage. The fact that it just came out and you can buy it new for $26 tells you a lot right there. You better rent it first rather than following the advice of your peers as this is a leming accident waiting to happen. (Whew, I feel much better now!)
