Cute game,but some what difficult for young kids

We bought this game for my 6-year old son for Christmas. He plays alot and seems to enjoy it, but needs help getting through some of the levels. He always keeps trying, but I can tell he gets frustrated that he has to ask for help. Probably a great game for older kids and adults, but not so great for kids under 8.

I am an experienced gamer with a young son, and we both enjoy. The game has alot of facets from the cartoon, (which I don't care much for). The sounds and voices are all there, even some of the guest stars, and the graphics are superb. Game is very challenging and recommend to all. Great way to spend a couple of hours. Recommend.

This is hands down the coolest kids game we have ever purchased.
My husband and I even enjoy playing it.
It will keep you on the edge of your seat!!

I would of given this game 5 stars despite
some of it's flaws, but there's one part of this
game that is almost impossible to advance through.
"Wreck on the Deck, part 2". The
creators of this game must have a sadistic
streak in them to put it's customers through
a section of their game that has a series of
jumps that will drive you mad. I looked online
for some tips to get through this phase and
I found out that many gamers either worked
extremely hard to get through "Wreck on the
Deck, part 2", or have simply given up.
My daughter gets to this point and starts a
new game. She'll never get to the end but
still enjoys playing it over and over.A lot of
fun and frustration awaits anyone who buys
this game. Too bad it's creators made the
game so hard in this one spot.

Fun and Silly Like the Cartoon

My son and I just finished this game It was fun. My nine year old and I played it together and it took us many hours over many days. He navigated and I did the harder moves. We beat the Mastermind and figured out the mystery and then we went back through to collect the Scooby Snacks we missed (other than a few hard to reach Scooby Snacks on "Wreck on the Deck 2.") My son loves going through the monster gallery over and over and I enjoyed returning to each area, finding new paths and looking for the missing stuff.

I love this game!!! We need more!!!

I absolutley love this game!!! It was more than I expected. It's fun, challenging, entertaining and addictive. Once you start playing this game you can't stop. We need more Scooby Doo games aside from this one and Mystery Mayhem........

I rented this and once I started, really liked it. There were puzzles that made you think and figure out the "clues", but ultimately I got stuck on the balcony roof and couldn't find my way out before it was due back. :P Great scenes, music, and SCOOBY!
I reccommend the second Scooby game.

Don't buy it- rent it!

This game is based on the Scooby Doo cartoon,it even has the original villans. This game is a little challenging, but it can get boring at times. My opinion is that you should rent it, not buy it.

This game is packed with most of the monsters on the TV series. The introduction is the theme of Scooby-Doo with the same music but with 3D graphics. It's a big adventure with Scooby-Snacks, Don Knots, Shaggy, and the audience's laugh when Scooby does somethin' funny! There is a bunch of passage ways your sopposed to get to to slolve the mystery. If you have JAK & DAXTER then should get this game.

This game is very fun, but in some levels you can`t figure out what to do like finding the super smash, to find it when you race the light in lighthouse frighthouse, when you raced it to the top and finished. Then smash the light with the helmet and you will find the super smash that power makes the game more exiting. In this game there are classic Scooby Doo villens like the creeper, the ghost, the scarecrow, the headless specter, ghost of captain moody, the zombie, witch, the ghostdiver,tar monster, witch doctor, ghost of geranimo, caveman, the gargoyle, the warewolf, the spacecook, funland robot and sea creature. There are also boss villens like the black knight,the green ghost,ghost of redbeard and the worst villen of the game the mastermind. Also small enemys like rats, spiders, bats, crabs and flying fish. There are 3 areas, each area has huge levels. The first area is the mystic manor its levels are the 1 the haunted house,2 belconies,3 rooftops,4 secret passegess,5 basement,6 labs and the second area is the haunted hedge maze. Its levels are 1 hedge maze,2 sea cliffs,3 graveyard and the third area is smugglers cove its levels are 1 fishing villege,2 lighthouse,3 shipwrecks,total 12 huge levels!.And there are traps for Scooby Doo like poison spitting plants, spiny hedges, arrow shooting and fire breathing statues, slippery and sticky surfeses, deep water and chasms, elecricity and fire. I will tell you what the powerups do... shovel allows you to dig, springs make you jump higher, helmet lets you bash monsters or boxes, bunny slippers and lampshade allows you to sneak pest monsters, the black knight armor allows you to fool monsters, super smash lets you smash monsters or bash switches, the plunger allows you to walk on slippery surfaces, the galoshes allow you to walk on stiky surfaces, the bubble blower lets you trap monsters in a soup bubble, bubble gum gets monsters caght in ther tracks and the umbrella allows you to glide long distances and be carried by wind. YOU collect scooby snacks and monster tokens.ITS THE GRATEST GAME fOR PLAYSTATION2!!! I highly reccommend this game to any Scooby fan.
