This is the best game ever! have played a lot of them but this one is the most fun, have already bought 2 of them. It is real to life. LOVE IT! If you loved the movie you will love this game.

I liked this game and ill tell you why, The graphics are really good and it has some cool music from the movie and that era. The language is a bit salty so dont let the little kids play or they to will sound like Tony. Overall i do recommend this to all who like the GTA , Godfather and such games. Enjoy and kill those cockeroaches man...

I bought this game for my boyfriend and he loves it!!! Everyday he tells me how much fun it is to play...and I should know, everytime we talk he's always playing it! =)

I was so excited to see this game come out- I loved the Godfather, and From Russia with Love, and the hype surrounding this game was incredible. The actual game, however, was incredibly disappointing. The driving controls, especially compared to the driving controls in The Godfather, are AWFUL. I was having so much trouble driving I kept looking through the handbook to see if I was doing something wrong, but from what I saw I was using the controller the way I was supposed to. Most of the missions involve driving, under a specific time limit, and with these awful controls, I gave up early- way too frustrating. The musical play list that you get to control was fun, but I would have liked more free-roaming like in the Godfather. I was also looking forward to hearing everyone's voices that were in the opening credits- Dale Earnhardt Jr??? But since I have almost totally given up on it now, I guess I won't get to hear their voice acting talent. Does anyone know if they plan to re-release this on the xbox 360? Maybe some of the control issues could be worked out before then. This game had so much potential that right now it is not living up to.

I have been playing this game for a few days now and i've got to say that they went way way overboard with the use of the "f" word. I am a GTA fan and I understand their is going to be some foul language in games of that type, but gee whiz! This game takes it to a new level with the use of the "f" word being used in my opinion, 100 times that of GTA. They need like a language filter or something on games that way those of us to enjoy openworld games can play them and have fun w/o hearing all the frequent profanities. So bluntly put, the language in this game is horrible! If they would have did it along the lines of GTA it would have been more tolerable, even though not good still to even have profanity in a game. Games can be a blast w/o all that mess. So have got that out of the way, the gameplay is a blast! Vehicle physics are kind of rough though and not as smooth as GTA i.e. the driving of the cars and boats. The graphics are pretty good too. I love the mansion. That is cool. They have really neat cars and boats as well. I like the fact too that you can hire your own henchmen and driver. You can call a car from your garage from anywhere and your driver will bring it to you in a matter of seconds..same goes for your boats if you are in a boathouse location. There may be other locations to call boats from but I haven't discovered it yet. In the game, you buy property, do deals, take down enemy gangs, etc on your way back to the top to claim your empire. Overall, language not included, this game is fun. But if I would have known then, what I know now, I would have just stuck with GTA and would have went out and bought D1 drift racing instead. Considering the language just makes this game a chore to enjoy without wanting to bring it back and trade it in. My wife could hear me playing the game from the other room and even she was disgusted and admitted that even GTA is better than this game. So being the GTA fan that I am, I just can't really recommend this game to anyone. Parents be forewarned. This game is rated mature for a reason so please do not buy this game for your children thinking the rating is nothing but a label. This title earns a capital "M".

I bought this game the day it came out. I had to have it. Boy was I disappointed. I have to say at first it was sick. I thought the storyline was really cool because I admire them creators trying something new. The first level was awesome, where you start out in Tony's mansion blasting your way to escape. Then the drug dealing and everything came in. Well, I stopped going so hard at this game only after a few hours of playing. For one, I was upset that Al Pacino didn't do the voice in this game. I thought that's why he wasn't in the Godfather! Whatever. Then I found out the game is very repetitive. Go buy drugs. Drive around. Sell drugs. Oh here's some rival gangs. Shoot 'em up. AND repeat. Then of course I found out what everyone else here is talking about. There's not much flexibility in this game. You have to play it mission by mission aside from the drug dealing, which as I said is just the same stuff over and over again. What's the point of making a video game's world so (seemingly) interactive and real, when you're not allowed to enjoy it? I'm so sorry to say this game is a LET DOWN. You want a real gangster classic movie-made-video game? THE GODFATHER. Can't f*ck with the Don, baby.
