My older brothar and i have been playing this game its so much fun, cool fun advetures. i really like collecting items and neopoints. my friends at school cant stop talking about how fun it is, sharing secrets and stuff, so coool!

First of all, I love this game! It is so much fun and it really gets kids intrested in magic and adventure. It is really the type of game for people who read the "Twitches" series and the "Animorph" series. It is so much fun and adventures that it really brings out the real you! Also there are some people who think of it as a stupid or as some kid said. "cheesy" game. Well here's the deal with people like that. So they dont like the game. Big deal. That's their problem. I mean look at the probability of how good this game is! There is only about maybe 4-5 bad reviews that were made by the same exact people (including if it says Timmy, or James. Both are the same people.) . So count how many bad reviews there are and then count how many good reviews there are. Now which one are you going to pick?

I know now that I have written "Count the good and bad reviews and see what you get." that the people who are obnoxious enough to make more bad reveis are going to make more bad reviews so they can make you not buy this game. So now that you've read this, just rent the game at a store for now. See if you like it, then you can decide wheather to buy it or not. Cya!

I am a huge neopets fan, although i have only been playing neopets online for about one year. I have heard about this game before i got it, because i just got a ps2 for christmas 5 days ago. So, i havent been playing for long, but this game is GREAT! I am a person who likes long adventure sagas with an unlikely hero in them, so if you are like me GET THIS GAME! It is only a 1 player game, but it still very fun! Heres a tip if you buy this game: sometimes the instructions don't tell you what to do, and you feel like quiting. But, just try everwhere for an answer,(look everywhere in what ever town you're in, and go in all buildings,) and i promise you'll get it. This game would be kinda hard for kids under 8, because fighting is hard to control.

HUGE HINT: Whenever you see patches of plants like grass, or small bunches of leaves, hit them with your sword and you get neopoints, or an item like strong health items, or sometimes Neggs! If you do this the game gets A LOT easier and way more fun! Also, if you kill the grass on tors farm (which gives you money) so you have 500 neopoints, you can buy a metal sword once in Meridell which gives you a HUGE advantage in shadowglen woods, and you won't survive in Illusens Glade without one!

i dont know who this make believe person "billy henderson" is, but dont believe there fake review, i have not once seen the game lock up, it is so much fun! my mom and i play it, and enjuy it. so far we have been playing it for over 14 hours and no problems, oh its so cool!!!Hands down the best game for kids my age(13) this year!!!

Neopets, Petpets, and Neggs Gallore!!

You start off playing as a Lupe named Tormund who really wants to be a knight of the realm one day. His dad sends him off to Meridell to deliver a package to the knights recuitment center. He takes the package and when he gets to Meridell his dream comes true, right after he gets his parents permission of course. =) Hey even Neopets need their parents permission sometimes.

The second character you play is a Acara named Roberta. Shes the niece to the king of Brightsvale. She is supposed to be some kind of diplomat but she really wants to learn magic. You don't play as Roberta quite as long as you do Tormund. After a while the two heros team up. Thats when it really gets fun.

While wandering around the world of Neopets sometimes you'll see this really adorable little creatures called Petpets. If you have some extra food give some to the Petpets to eat and they will follow your hero(s) around for awhile. Not all Petpets will though. The Turtum won't. The Turtum Petpet is basically just good for reaching high places. The Petpets that will follow you around however can do different things for Tor and Roberta. They can strengthen them, make their defense better, recover their health over a given period of time, or even recover their magic over a given period of time.

Some of the other neopets you will meet in the world of Neopets will ask you to do favors for them. Like find them certain items, or give things to others for them. If you complete the tasks they ask of you they will give you neopoints, neggs, or other items in return.

Also while wandering around you will sometimes come across treasure maps. You should collect these if you can. They lead to buried treasure chests you can only finally find using a map. Some treasure chests contain neopoints, neggs, potions, or motes even. =) Some treasure chests you will see have these glitter looking crystals on them. You will need to equip your weapon with a mote of the same element type as the element of the treasure chest then hit the chest with your weapon to open it.

I enjoyed this game alot but it did let me down some because for some reason whenever I would turn the camera to see better a line would scroll down the screen some times but it wasn't enough to notice. =) It also let me down a little because it seemed to freeze up once or twice but that might be because I had been playing it for like four hours non-stop. =) Other then that I would reccmond this game for people who have little children who want something they can enjoy and also for all those people who are still a kid at heart. =)

Surprising Endless Fun....Yes for Dad Too!!!

My daughters and I play this game for hours and have a blast doing it. The relationship between Tor and Roberta is adorable and the game requires Dad to come to the rescue for the dark nights, minions and "gone bad" chieftans, but that's half the fun. I can only hope they are underway in developing DF-II or another adventure for Tor and Roberta. Bravo!!!

I recomend this game to any neopets lover(that has a PS2 of course!)This game combines skill with stratagy. It really makes you think. I also recomend this game to any gamer. I think that if someone who has no idea what neopets is, after playing this game they're going straight to neopets.com to sign up.

I like this game very much except that it can be very hard at some points. Right now, I have to battle this big pirahana thing in the woods. I really want to play as Roberta. The camera can be really confusing. I also don't like that the land is very strange. I mean like you get lost very often even if you use the map. I really like the motes that make your weapon, or shield stronger. I also like the story. it is very fun and not confusing at all. Overall, I'd get this game if I were you. The longest you would play before putting on your shelf with all of the dusty ones is about 5 weeks. I'M A NEOPETS FREAK!

Now I myself am a neopets fan and was really excited when this game was released. I found out about it in a Disney Adventures magazine. I was imiadietly saving up for this.

Now the game has it's ups and downs though, but I am sure that if you're a neopets fan you will love this game. Now here are the up's.

1) All of the neopets characters from the website come alive in this 3-D adventure.

2) Challenging puzzles, magic, sword fights.

3) Tons of action!

And now, to my dismay, the downs.

1) Lack of aim when using the wand. Let's just face it. Even though it hones in on the enemy it doesn't always hit its mark.

2) Way to many glitches. Once when I was looking for an item in an abbandoned mine shaft using Tormund, the character that uses the sword, I was not watching where I was going and walked into a wall. Literally. It took me a while to get out of there but after I got out I was treated to a 1st person view. What's wrong with this you might ask. Well 1st person + sword = massive problems attacking.

3) This may only appeal to parents who are planning on buying this game for their 7 year old son/daughter that's into neopets. Some of the locations send chills down your spine. Especially the graveyards. They are especially scary when an enemy pops out from around the corner unexpectadly.

Well it is a pretty good game if you're a fan of neopets or zelda.

First of all I have to say the website (neopets.com) and the game are two completely different things. So if you think the website is boring, do not automaticly hate the video game. They are two completely different things! I like them both exactly the same in my opinion. Neopets the Darkest Faerie is a very fun adventure game, when the website is great because of the virtualpets experiance and role-playing. This is a great game, also would make a great gift! [...]
