This game is da bomb!No stupid Quake/Doom health, 1 or 2 shots and your toast. And you better keep people alive too there are 16 very cool missions and you need every person .Each person has a different skill too. The guns are very realistic but there aren't that many though. And if you think the the missions are the same you're dead wrong, the missions vary from sneaking into a house unseen to wiping out all the terrorists on an abandoned airfield to rescuing a hostage on a ship. The graphics are totally sweet and your aim is altered by your health. From the loud boom of the grenades to the screeching tires of a hummer on an Austrailian highway I give this the 2nd best game award and if you are wondering whats better then this? The sequel of course.
The real deal

This game created a whole new level and a whole new idea of gaming. With outstanding graphics and on-the-edge-of-your-seat gaming and missions this game was an instant classic. Althought they could add a 3-d gun to this first person shooter it lacks no other flaws. This game is a great great game. Your a swat team leader and it's your mission to rescue the hostages and it's tailed with amazing cinemas and great gameplay. BUY THIS!
impressive, but something missing

I got the game a short while ago. Based on my first impressions it appears to be interesting. Graphics are sharp and detailed. What it clearly lacks is the 3D realism offered in quakeII It appears too 2-dimensional eg: when turning around the corners of buildings there is a distortion in the angle between the front and adjacent walls. Graphics are other wise good, the clouds floating across the skies look real. But on the whole it definitely looks like a 2D game to me. I have an nVidia GeForce2 GTS based card and the graphics in quakeII simply rock!

Now,now. I've been reviewing and testing games for a long time since I was 8. Rainbow Six is action and a little bit on the difficult side. I highly reccomend this game and others. Now look I may be just a kid, but I'm smart if you have any questions about a video game or if you parent's out there wan't to know about a good videogame to give to your kids ask me all you have to do is ask the pro's at toys r us.com becareful though because you're limited to one questiong
The best game ever!

If you read the book Rainbow Six you will love the game. This game is action packed, suspenseful, and thrilling. If you add all that into a game what do you get? You get the best P.C. game on the planet... Rainbow Six.
