007 Nighfire can be said to be the best of the 007 Franchise for the PS2, so far. Great graphics, awesome sound and good gameplay makes Nightfire a must buy for the PS2.
One of the new addition's to this game is the very real and life-like appearance and voice of Pierce Brosnan. Initially, youre thrown into the first mission, which is more
like a training mission. Your aim is to protect another agents car. Shoot tyres, blow up trucks and roadblocks, and volla!, the mission's over. In total there are 12 mission's, inclusive of the first one and they seemed awfully short and easy to me. You have 3 types of modes to choose from; Agent, 00 Agent and 007 being the hardest and most challenging of them all.
The graphics are simply stunning. The effects such as your Aston Martin taking a 360 spin on the ice, 007 jumping off a cliff, explosions and your Martin turning into a Submarine are just some of the few surprises on the way. Well how can I forget the MI5 gadgets. Your Omega(Yeah you can actually see it) with its laser, and your pretty neat looking Sun Glasses lets you see in the night and allows you to sense heat, which is very useful in finding a bad guy hiding in a pond, or behind the bushes.
In conclusion, 007 Nightfire is a good buy. It lacks replay-value like most games and the missions can be a walk in the park for some, but yeah, there will be loads of awe-inspiring surprises along the way!

Easily the best bond game since goldeneye. The multiplayer is great, you dont need to have another second player... The gadgets are awsome. Laser bombs, suitcase bombs, remote control vehicles, etc etc. Its awsome and addictive. Buy this game!

I've played all the James BOnd games that have ever come out, and this one by far, beats all of them, yes, even Goldeneye (IMO).
Yet while there are only 12 mission, there are 2x-3x larger then the levels in "Agent Under Fire". Plus, the missions are worth playing over again, because they're are many ways to solve the missions. The gameplay has definetely improved since "AUF". They have introduced new weapons and gadgets that look superb, and they brought back some old ones, and made 'em look 10x better!
Now for the Multiplayer! I can play this for hours, the levels are huge! u can get lost in some of them (literally). Plues there are remote controlled drones such as helicopters, tanks and snowmobiles! you can have up to 6 bots for a total of 10 ppl! (4ppl, 6 bots), many different styles of multiplayer to choose from too. And there are many characters too choose from, some fromn classic JB movies, some more recent, and all new ones(oddjob can throw his hat for an attack!)
All in all if i could i would give this game 10 out of 5 stars! This is definetely worth the mney, it is very enjoyable, and there are many feets to accomplish! Good Luck!
BEST Bond Game Yet!!!

007: Nightfire is by far the greatest James Bond game to grace a console since Goldeneye and is extremly fun to play. The controls are easy to get use to, the graphics are awesome and the gadgets and weapons are very cool. Nightfire is a shorter game than Agent Under Fire, however the storyline is extremly well done and the new cast of characters is superb. This game is also great for it's high speed chase levels in the V12 Vanquish and other sweet vehicels. My favorite part of the game is the multiplayer mode, where you can choose from among 10 different scenerios and play as an assortment of memorable bond characters including: Oddjob, Christmas Jones, Jaws, Raynard, Max Zorin, Goldfinger, Nick Nack, Scaramanga, Wan Li and many more. Buy this game for an extremly fun time!
Very good game

When I first inserted Nightfire into my PS2, I was hoping to finally find a James Bond video game that could somewhat live up to the great standard that Goldeneye for N64 had set. I was not disappointed. I had played some bad Bond games in the past (No names mentioned), and I wanted a game that had the same quality of Goldenye, yet had more up to date graphics. I really thought that Nightfire finally hit the spot after 6 years of waiting for a really good game. One thing that helped the game a lot was the multi-player game format. It was just perfect. This is a game that can be played with your friends at parties or just alone and either way the experience was wonderful. If played as a one player game, you were introduced to a great storyline with believeible characters, great villians and gadgets, and some really good twists that one would only expect from a real Bond film. Multi-player on the other hand was also great with a larger area to battle on and more weapons. Also, the feature of bots to play with you on your team or your opponents team was ingenius. In conclusion, although I really enjoyed playing this wonderfully crafted game, once again it can never live up to the standards of Goldenye.

I played every single bond game including night fire, I have connections. The game includes a lot of different scenerios for the game and a wholoe new line up of new weapons. In this there is a lot more harder mission game play, which is really fun. It has a lot of realistic things to do in the mission that you have to figure out for your self though. I just got to play it for a liitle bit, maybe a few missions, but it is the best game of bond yet! This game definetly deserves 5 stars! You will enjoy this game.
Yo Im out,(;"]:>/:) peace

This Bond KILLS all the other Bond games I have played: Everything or Nothing (not a great Multi-player, which is the best part of the games, in my opinion), Goldeneye: Rogue Agent (a little bit to hard, with one star multi-player, Goldeneye fetures are cool though), Agent Under Fire (I'll admit, good multi-player, O.K story line), and Tomorrow Never Dies (I'll admit again, great Solo player, NO multi-player, which really killed me, it could have been great). I must say, this game has the best multi-player availible in Bond games, with up to four players in arenas that are big, but not TO big. Everything or Nothing's arenas were pitiful, but still fun. My brother and I still play this game a lot, and we have become masters (let's just say, you won't win against us, sorry to put it that way, but it's true). There's also LOTS of unlocks for solo and multi-player, and if you unlock Oddjob in multi-player, YOU CAN USE HIS HAT!!!!! There's also Nick Nack, the midget from The man With the Golden Gun, Jaws, Pussy Galore, Max Zorin, and three different tipes of Bonds (one in his spacesuit, one in his Tuxedo, and one in his spy suit). There's MUCH MUCH more, but I can't go through them, there's to many. So if you want a great Bond Game, GET THIS!!

Over View:
James Bond NightFire is a huge leap for EA games, if you have ever played Golden Eye for N64 you know that the Multiplayer was awsome! Well EA games brought in the same company that helped make the "World is Not Enough". The thing that I thought was lacked in the "World is Not Enough" is that the Multiplayer was not as great as Golden Eyes.
Single Player:
The base of the single player is that MI6 goes up against the Phoenix team lead by Drake, not to give too much a way the company has improved the driving simulations giving better views and control, Over All I would give the single player a 5 out of 5 because it is three times better then the mission base in "Agent Under Fire".
Multiplayer:
If you have played Golden eye, and then played Agent Under Fire you know that it seem like EA was taking a step in the right direction. The game has totally change, no more Q-Claw or Q-Pack, Instead of having a cell phone to do most thing you use your watch for the laser, to a shaver. The Multiplayer is a lot better then Agent Under Fire because of the fact they allow better bots, options such as King of the Hill or Team Arena, Old charatcers from older moves such as Tomorrow Never Dies to the days with Jaws. A great combination makes Multiplayer able to play with out having a partner, you can play with four bots from either team MI6 or Team Phoenix. All and All this is a must have which will never get boring. I give it a 5 out of 5
I suggest you get this game if your a bond fan or just a hard core action gamer
Never get bord

I love this game, the story mode is pretty cool, some missions are a little to hard or easy. But multiplayer mode sucked me in. You can play with computers, a friend, 2-3 friends, up to 4 computers with or without the 2nd-4th players. Easy controls make the game easy to adapt to with variuos control settings from all previos bond games. Wepons, frag grenades, remote mines, stun grenades, smoke bombs, tripbombs, satchel charges, rapter magnum, rapter 5.0, golden gun, p2k, auto 12, delta repeater, tactical sniper, covert sniper, sameri (lazer), aims, milteck, sentinil, scorpian, the fixed gun emplacements, mini vihicals and the grapple and phenix ronin. The phenix ronin is a suitcase that shoots rapid fire bullets at enemies. you have varius gadgets in story mode. also in story mode there are 3 difficulty modes.
Worth it Just for the Multiplayer !!!s

This game was the first I got back in 03. I remember how much I loved it. I am still playing Nightfire every once in a while. That shows the mark of a great game --when you can beat it 5 or 6 times and still play it. I have to say, the plot is great, graphics are alright, levels are fantastic and it is pretty challenging for a beginning gamer. The thing I love most about the game is it's multiplayer. You don't even have to play with two people because you can set up auto bots. I am still wondering why it isnt an online game. It would have been great for online playing. Altogether, it is a great action game.
