does not deserve the T rating because despite the option to create a Syndicate and launch attacks against competeing resturants there is no blood or boddies, the explosions are unrealistic, once the attackers are in the location everyone leaves that building and the store is closed for about 3 ingame hours that is all should be E

This game was too hard to learn. It took me 30 minutes just to figure out how to build a building and it took me 15 minutes after that to figure out what i did. dont listen to what anyone else tells you. dont buy. big waste.

I would definetly reccomend this game to any one who loves to have control over a game. I own the game myself and it keeps me interested in it.

This is a great game to learn Financing, It's hard to learn how to play this game but... If you play it enough, you'll get use to it.

This game is horrible, if i could return this game i would. It is not worth spending even a penny on. Confusing and boring!

It could be better...

...but it could be a LOT worse! Since it doesn't come with a manual, this game is a little confusing at first, but it's really fun after that! You can expand your restaurants as much as you want, and you can send couriers with rats, cockroaches, woodworms, and more to competitors! Definetely one for the future business person!

This is the real Pizza Tycoon 2!

This game rocks! It is 100% better then the original. You no longer have to worry about an annoying time limit. You can also blow up your rivals. The interface is way better. While there are some annoying bugs, for the most part this is a great tycoon game for fans of the Pizza Tycoon series. Add this one to your collection!

Dreadful: the signs are all there.

I should have recognised the warning signs: no manual (hardcopy or electronic), not even a measly game_play_guide.doc on the disc, and no webpage where you can go for game play information. Activision offers no on-line support, though they will happily sell you the game at their website.

Installing the game wasn't a hassle for me -- maybe I was lucky.

The first-time play tutorial was far too short and abysmal. Not all of tasks had an obvious reason: e.g. why _do_ you need a headquarters? The game play interface is non-intuitive, which made me feel even more keenly the lack of documentation.

I was also taken aback to learn that it was really only "pizza tycoon" rather than fast food: don't expect hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs or any other greasy staple.

I bought this as a fan of Railroad Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Settlers. "Fast Food Tycoon 2" doesn't even come close to those for enjoyment or depth of play. I would hazard a guess that it was quickly cobbled together to cash in on the "tycoon" wave of success.

I would like my money back.

Not What I'd Hoped

I always thought a "restaurant sim" would be fascinating - preparing the menu, choosing the decor, hiring employees, expanding, etc. Fast Food Tycoon seemed to offer some semblance of that, but not with the depth I hoped for. It would be nice to be able to branch out beyond pizza - though the choices of toppings are somewhat inspired. The game game with few instructions other than a tutorial that you can play upon starting the game, and even that wasn't all that intuitive to figure out. I guess this game would be a good diversion for a while. I haven't tried the rest of the "tycoon" games, but I hope some of them are better than this.
