I complained earlier on these pages about a certain aspect of
HHBB 2003 that I thought would bother me. I spoke way too soon.
This is the best baseball game I have ever played, either with or without a human opponent. The game plays REAL, and that's all I need from a sports game. Rent it, buy it, spend a
day or two with it. Tune the game to your likings and your ability and then notice how REAL the experience is. As far as I
am concerned, that's all that matters.

Well first of all let me say that this game for the PS2 does not have the best graphics, however really fun. The only real problem I have with the game is the schedule! did anyone bother to bring up a Red Sox schedule before making this game? c'mon 3DO you guys a supposed to be pros here. Other than that Pitching is great, hitting is a little more realistic, still a little easy to hit a homerun though.

In my opinion this is the best baseball game out there right now. Great on-field action and a really deep season mode makes it better that Triple Play 2002 and MLB 2003. All and all I'd recommend this game for players who want to play right away and for those who really want a good simulation.

This game improves on hh2002 by adding features like homerun derby. By simply adding these features and taking nothing away from the actual game play which hh2002 superior to other Playstation 2 baseball games, hh2003 is sure to beat the competition in pure fun.

3D0 has done an amazing job with this game. It's definitely the best baseball game available without a doubt. I was amazed to see the new rosters for all the teams. The batting lineups and field positions were even exactly like you will probably see come opening day. I love EA sports games but, when it comes to baseball games High Heat Baseball by 3D0 can't be beat.

High Heat Baseball has always been an easy to understand game with perfect rosters, gameplay, and graphics. You always have fun playing or watching a computerized game. You'll play for hours and hours and never stop. Many great features of the game is when the oponent hits a homer, the home team will throw the ball back! There are also real ejections, face expressions, and not that it matters, but a realistic looking crowd. It is definitely the best game out there easily beating out Triple Play, All Star Baseball, and the new series, Home Run King ( With Jeff Bagwell on the cover). That's why High Heat Baseball games (especially High Heat 2003) always cream others!

I haven't played this game, but my older brother has. Now, I have played the High Heat 2002, and I hear the new no one is much better than the current one, but they never changed the season! So, since he bought it in St. Louis, we can't return it. Other than that flaw, I think it is a great game.

Problem with Disc quality

We purchased this game in high anticipation...and found that our PS2 system could not recognize/read the CD. We returned it for a replacement at a major retailer and the replacement CD had the same problem. I think there is a quality issue with 3DO's manufacturing process and I fear purchasing any more of their products because it is so hard to return games. Fortunately, the store agreed to give us a store credit to buy something else when we returned the second copy. Major bummer!!

Like every baseball game this one has it's glitches, but I've played many baseball games in my time and this one by far is the best one yet. As close to real as it gets!
