Good Wrestling Action

This game is one of the best wrestling games availible. It features famous rappers such as Ludacris and DMX. Its pretty easy to pick up the controls and delivers a good dose of action. The only complaints are the lack of modes, out of ring weapons, & Create-A-Wrestler. It's a great game for what it does have but it could have had more stuff. Maybe next year. Still reccomended.

ill tell yea, if i could rate this 1-10 id give it an easy 20. It's so incredible ... . For an idea, if you've played No Mercy for N64 and loved that game then you'll deffinately love this game without a doubt. The most fun ive had in a video game lik this. takin ur favorite artist (and the other dominate players) and just lay their own smack down. but i cant tell you how good it is untill you experience the rush urself! ill tell ya get this game.....

This game certainly had a lot of hype to live up to, and sadly, it falls short in many ways. It was created by AKI, the company that brought to us the excellent WCW v. NWO Revenge for N64, but this game seems to lack many of the options of that game, and, other than graphics, appears to be a step backward. There is no create-a-wrestler, no weapons, no modes other than basic 1v1, 2v2, 3v1, and so on, and only one story line in story mode. This makes the game have little replay value, and you should have it beaten in at MOST a week. Rent it, don't buy it.

More glorification of hip-hop culture and violence towards women. I can see why this title is so popular, specifically in the USA. In this era of garbage like gangsta rap, the jerry springer show, MTV's "Jackass" and "Girls Gone Wild" videos, this game fits perfectly, and will entertain countless numbers of mind-numbed idiots for years to come.

I just got A ps2 and its the best so far. but I like all of the systems exsept the cube. the ps2 plays both dvds ps1 games and ps2 games. no matter what people say about it I will always like
it the best xbox just can not be is good is the ps2.

Def Jam Vendetta is the most fun wrestling game out for PS2. The bone-rattling moves and interesting cut scenes keep you plugged in all night. It's only cons are that it is extremely easy and i have already beaten it in 5 days. Besides that it is the best PS2 game i have played since MADDEN 2003

I wonder who was the genius who came up with the idea of glorifying and incorporating hip-hop style violence into a video game whose target audience is made up of teenagers? This game also shows that it is fun to beat up on women. There's already enough gang violence in our nation's inner cities, we don't need little suburbanites to follow in the example of violent criminals.
