This game really is bad after you've played one of the socom games. If only you are playing this game, it is really hard because your teamates always do the dumbest things. All you can tell them to do is follow you. Bad graphics and it feels unsmooth. With 2 people this game is very fun because you can split up and do separate objectives or distract a tank while your friend places a C4 next to it. Aiming is not set up good because it is auto aim and is too hard to hit the guy that you want to. ememy AI is still pretty dumb and will aimlessy run at you. You can stand right in frount of a tank, up next to it and it can't touch you. More challanging than the first and better missions. Very bad level design. Not a very big improvement over the first. You could possibly beat it in a rental. Smart that you can give and trade things with your partners.

I like the latest two Conflict games,C:Vietnam and C:Global Storm
(i live in UK-so i am talking about Global Terror) they are fun.
The Conflict series are not the best Tactical Shooter series even if they are fun,i still prefer SOCOM,Ghost Recon and Rainbow SiX any day.So here are all the tactical shooters/WAR games that i recommned:(some are FPS,some are 3PS)
SOCOM:U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM II
SOCOM 3
Ghost Recon
Ghost Recon:Jungle Storm
Ghost Recon 2
Rainbow Six 3
Rainbow Six:LOCKDOWN(I like it-alot of ppl don`t)
Medal Of Honor:Frontline
Medal Of Honor:European Assault(NOT Rising Sun)
Call Of Duty:Finest Hour
Call Of Duty 2:Big Red One
Brothers In Arms:Road to Hill 30
Brothers In Arms:Earned In Blood
ShellShock:Nam 67
Conflict:VietNam
Conflict:Global Storm(in USA Global Terror)
Thse are all Military/paramillitary Tactical Shooters/War games
I ain`t got them all but i HAVE played them all and like them,The reason i have played them all is because i have got three friends that love Tacti shooters and war games(two boys and one girl-love these games).
I ain`t got an XBox-But i have heard that XBox has WAY better Military/Paramilitary games than both PS2 and GameCube XBox have got things like CounterStrike,GR2:Summit Strike,GR:Island Thunder,Operation:FLASHPOINT etc.-i wish PS2 nad GCN had all thiose-But still i like my PS2 ones!
So DSII is krap it boring-i borrowed it from one of my friends who didn`t like it as i was trading it in for Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater, speaking of MGS3 i am also a fan of stealth games:
here are the BEST stealth games out now:
Metal Gear Solid 1/The Twin Snakes
Metal Gear Solid 2(SOL and S)
Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater
Hitman 2:Silent Assasin
Hitman:Contracts
Splinter Cell 3:Chaos Theory
though i like SC3:CT i hate its predessors they are So BORING like DSII and DSI.
So stay away from the Desert Storm games-Ther are MUCH better war and tacti shooter games out!-the latest two Conflict games are good though!

When I first played this game, I immediately noticed the graphical enhancements over the first game. The roll was also a nice touch. However, after only playing for a couple of hours, I noticed I was getting bored of it. At first I was having trouble figuring out why I got bored of this game, yet can still pick up the first game and have a blast. And then it hit me. This game is far more linear than the first. The first game had separate paths that players could take, especially usefull with multiple players, that allowed for more variety in game play. This game, however, had pretty much a set path for players to run through during the missions, making it kind of boring. Also, the ending was quite dissapointing. Where the first game had General Aziz (We all know it was Saddam), this game lacked a main villain that could be killed at the end. To me it was worth it to play the first game through just for the satisfaction of knifing Saddam in the back. No satisfaction found in this game. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to this game.

This is a VERY SHORT GAME and it is not worth 50 bucks. It is great while it lasts and it is kinda fun to replay, but it is not worth 50 bucks or waste your christmas petition on this. I got it for 7 DOLLARS. ONLY 7 DOLLARS last month. Where I live, I can get fully functional copies of newly released games!:). This is even better than renting it, since its yours forever for only 7 DOLLARS, while the original version is 7 times more expensive. I also get newly released computer games for 8 dollars, one sixth the price! That is how I got Generals and Zero Hour, amazing games. So, just buy this game when it is cheaper, wait for it, you will finish the game in about 5 hours.
this is the best

This is the most frustrating game I have ever played. I hated it. I started the game on easy and it was still ridiculously hard. This is a poor game made by poor, no-name companies. The graphics are terrible for an x-box game. There's no story line. You can be either Delta Force or SAS special forces, but's there's no difference except the SAS have a british accent, the characters are all the same (even the same weapons, stupid). The enemy AI is awful. Instead of shooting their guns, they just throw grenades which instantly kills you. That's all they ever do. Then there's the whole tank subject. There's millions of them and you only get about three anti-tank missiles. Even with multiple direct hits at a tank, it still won't blow. Also, enemy tanks have perfect accuracy and never fail to hit and kill you the first time. The tanks take out all your men in no time and you're forced to start the mission over again. Shooting your gun involves precise movements and rarely will you hit your target even when the bad guy is right in front of you. Never have I been so frustrated playing a video game. There are many better games than this that have the same gameplay. If you don't believe me, rent it and you'll see how bad this poor excuse for an x-box game really is.

This game is awsome when you play it with 2 players. As a single person thing it is not as good as some other worthy competitors, (Socom 2 for example).

Look, people, this is an excellent game. The little boy who claims he beat it in five hours is either a lying imbecile or a cheater. This game is extremely difficult, and very fun. Being two-player co-op, it's the most entertaining game I've ever played. And you can take that to the bank, because I'm a videogame junky of many years. This game is extremely intelligent, there are many different weapons (you can use enemy weapons, including the big .50cal machineguns). I rented it from Blockbuster last week and played roughly five hours each day, and only beat five missions. This is a strategic game that requires speed, accuracy, and caution (hint: try to be stealthy; You might live longer). The only downfalls are the facts that you can't take weapons off dead enemies, and the vehicles you can control have pretty crappy handling, but it's easy to get used to. The controls can be quickly learned, and the array of weapons is amazing. I simply love this game, and am renting it again in two days. I'm determined to beat it. Whether I do or not, I am going to buy it. It's so realistic and fun!

Conflict Desert Storm II: Back to Baghdad is a fantastic game. It takes place durring the 1991 Gulf War, and puts you into the boots of a squad of British SAS or US Delta Force Soldiers, sent to do covert operations. The squad consits of a rifleman/team leader, sniper, demolitions soldier, and support gunner. There is a great variety of missions, ranging from rescuing trapped allies, destroying an Iraqi Chemical Weapons plant, escaping from a POW camp, putting out Oil Fires, and more. There is a great variety of weapons too. Everything from AK-47s and pistols, to chain guns and rocket launchers. You can even drive enemy tanks, jeeps, and Humvees in some levels. The game has also been improved technicaly. The graphics have been given a boost, with sharper lines and more contrast in the picture. The explosions and tracer fire also look more realistic. It really gives you the feeling that you were in the war. And this time around, the developers added Computer Generated movies, to add a background story to the game. The movies really look great. But thats not all, the dialog has also been upgraded. Characters will say clever things like, Made in Russia, destroyed in Iraq!, after taking out an enemy tank. It adds to the realism. Back to Baghdad even lets you play with up to 3 other friends. So each person can control a member of the team. It makes it a great game to play with your buddies. And the 10+ levels will keep you entertained for a while, and the replay value is great. Weather you are a history buff, a fan of shooting games, or just someone looking for a game to have fun with friends, Back to Baghdad is your choice. With great graphics, sound, variety of levels, and replay value, what more could you ask for? I strongly recommend you to buy Conflict Desert Storm II: Back to Baghdad. It gets 5 out of 5 stars.
