My 5 year old son was more excited about the game rather than the actual movie, however once we got it home and loaded I was greatly dissappointed. We were able to conquer the first adventure and then were not able to find any others. We searched and searched and even restarted the game many times. Finally, after an hour of trying to figure out what was wrong, I went to the website to find, to our dissappointmen, that it is only a cheap little demo. It seems like it would be a great game but Disney definitely should have stated that it is only a DEMO.

This collection of several games for young kids is entertaining and well designed for the most part. An added bonus is being rewarded with clips from the movie as you advance! Finally, kids software that is Mac OS X native. The games themselves are not bad -- the shell game (three shells get moved around, one with a fish under it; you guess which one has the fish), matching game, and "shark pong" game are well done. The turtle race and fish swim race are kind of weak. There's also a music band section that unfortunately is not very intuitive as to how to play around with the music. But, overall, a good value and fun for young kids!
A Big Hit with a 3-1/2 year old

My 3-1/2 year old son loves this and can run several of the games independently. It sometimes makes him laugh hysterically.
I have some pretty strong biases. I think most educational toys are oxymorons. I think a 3-1/2 year old should be having fun, not building a resume. I figure K-12 will provide plenty of opportunities for structured learning.
This is a great purchase if you want your child to enjoy time with a computer and get some basic mouse skills. The only draw back is that you may have to adjust your mouse settings with respect to left/right click recognition (some other software for the younger set handles this internally).

I can't believe how bad this video game was. The makers clearly put minimal thought into making it and just wanted to capitalize on the popularity of the movie. The whole game can be finished in one sitting by a four year old. I played with my nephew and kept hoping that it would get better, but it doesn't. The games are all too easy and not that interesting.
Don't waste your money on this one!

We bought this for our five-year-old, who loved the movie. Why is it that all Disney games turn into annoying (and cloying) lead-ins or promos for the movie? Why do we have to watch endless clips of it? The games seem kind of uneven (some way too hard, others too easy), and sometimes the software seems to get 'stuck' (we need to back out and repeat the objective to get it to work). I like THQ and their software in general, I've just noticed that anything Disney-related gets bogged down in their desire to "Plug the movie! Plug the products!" My son does like it when he plays it, but it's been used a LOT less than I had anticipated. Gets 3 stars for good graphic and audio quality, but I'd give the game itself a two.

The graphics are top notch. There are seven games that will keep the little ones busy for hours. The instructions are spoken by the characters and are easily understood. Lots of movie clips too. Even my 2 year old enjoyed watching. My daughter loves this game. I highly recommend it! It came with a free movie ticket in it as well, great deal!
Cutest game I have seen so far.

My kids loved it. We haven't played it much, but whatever I have seen, this game impresses me a lot. Graphics are very crisp. There are movie clips that you get to see when you accomplish some task. Games are standard, but educational.
The main fish interacts with the children. The voice is naughty and childish, which attracts children. My three year old doubled up with laughter when the turtle bounced around in a game to capture mother of pearls.
A great buy indeed.
If you own Freddy Fish software, don't buy this.

It is very similar to it, as if format copied. My 7 year old daughter likes, my 4 yeard old son got it for birthday, we had it on our wish list, but he's struggling with it. The voice does sound like the original characters like Ellen DeGeneres.
had expected more

Loved the movie, and thought that it might be a way for our three year old girl to get more comfortable with using the computer. She was excited too but was bored with it in an hour. The games are simplistic and in some cases poor renderings of things we've seen before, and it is only the fact that the GUI is wearying that they're any challenge. The stones game is the same as things we play with cards. The shark game is just pinball and it is difficult to control. The turtles game is funny but doesn't go anywhere. Daughter had no interest in the school-of-fish game. And even after working on it for a while, my best conclusion is that the music composition game is simply buggy.
