When it first came out i was soooo excited to get this game for my XBOX...but then!!! So being a fan of the xfiles series i decided to go out and dish out 150 bucks for a PS2 and plus 30 bucks for the game...which i can say it was an awesome game reminded me of resident evil...but better..this x-files game was meant for the XBOX since the graphics are sooo freaking awesome on the XBOX. They better release it on XBOX really sooooon!!!!

WHY DID THEY RELEASE THIS GAME STRICTLY FOR PS2??? I THINK THAT'S PRETTY DUMB... I MEAN I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE X-FILES AND ALL, BUT I WILL NOT WASTE MONEY FOR A PS2 OR LET ALONE BORROW OR PLAY ON ONE JUST SO I CAN PLAY THIS GAME... NOOOO. I HATE PLAYSTATION!!!!!

THIS GAME HAS GOTTEN CANCELLED FOR XBOX. SO DO NOT BOTHER ORDERING THAT VERSION. IT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE PLAYSTATION2 IN MARCH.

I tried to order this game and it shouldn't be on amazon anymore because it does not exist. It's only being made available for Playstation 2. If anyone from Black Ops or another developer reads this, then RELEASE THE GAME ON XBOX! It is the superior gaming consol anyway so you are only releasing your game on a lower plane.
So customers, save your energy and do not order this item. It will just sit there unshipped on your account. This game was supposed to be released on xbox originally but I guess they warned us dorks.... trust no one. hahaha. And seriously, mysterious xfile creator (you know who you are), give the conspiracy a rest for once and just give the fans what they want in a timely fashion or pretty soon you won't have any fans at all.
I may live to regret this....

I'm gonna buy this game, and I haven't purchased an XBox yet. The 5 stars you see above this review reflect only the screenshots I've seen and the effort placed in giving Gillian Anderson any attention ever since the Lone Gunmen killed the series.
The first video game from this series was similar to the Myst phenomenon and you didn't get to assume the character of either of the two leads. In this new game, you can play as Mulder or Scully, but I'm not clear as to the ability to change genders in the middle of the game. Hopefully you cannot, so there will be at least two story paths.
Anyway, the title of my review is concerning the potential for this game to really really stink. I apologize in advance and will continue to justify the stars as crazy enthusiasm for an upcoming game. Feb 2004??? I seems a million years away!

Honestly I don't know anything about this game except that it's X-files, but that's enough! If you're as big a fan of the series as I am, you'll order it ASAP. The series is great, the movie was awesome, and the last game was one of the best I've played. If this product bears The X-Files logo, you can be sure it's worth your money. With the series no longer an option, this will be the best and newest way to find the truth.
