I LOVE this game. I must say, as a young ...gamer, its easy to understand,the concept of running an anciant civizilation is awsome, and the twist with the gods not only make it interesting but educational. Like I dident ever know that Demeter was the goddess of fertaility and fufillment. How cool is that?
They will so love the game and you will get hours of 'Hey mom, did you know that ____ was the god/goddess of ___________?' or 'Dad, check out this city, see? My cities team even won the yearly Olympian games! Isent that awsome?!'
In conclusion get the game, it will bring he/she hours of enjoyment, and you a life time of 'Hey mom' and 'Dad, check it out!' and these sentances wont end with "'Can I have it?! PLLEEEEEEASE??'". :) Happy gaming!!

If you are in to Greek mytholagy and you like computer games this is the game for you.You can worship gods upgrade housing and create a strong military.

I bought this game looking for something that would be fun in my spare time and became addicted!

The game has a great tutorial to teach you how to build and run your city. It is fairly easy to learn the basics of building a city but there are enough variations to keep the game intersting and to keep you learning. There are also campaigns which are very well put together, and my favorite, the ability to create your own campaigns, right down to the landscape if you choose.

I like how much you are able to control about your city and the relationships you can form with the different gods. By choosing which God you align yourself with you can create a lot of varience in the game.

This game kept my attention for a long time and I know I'll continue to enjoy it. I think it is a superbly done strategy and building game!

I played through all of the episodes about a year ago, and recently loaded it up again, and it's just as much fun as it was the first time! It's fascinating to watch the city grow, and click on the people and hear what they have to say! Some of their comments are hilarious.

I enjoyed this much more than other sim games I had tried, because the people had comments, and there are attainable goals to accomplish. The goals get harder as the game progresses, but they are all attainable, so there is never the frustration of not being able to finish a level. (Only sometimes the frustration of waiting for something to happen, such as a population goal.)

Great, great game, but I recommend Acropolis

Zeus is my favorite game. The only thing I would recommend is buying Acropolis instead. If you buy that now, you'll save a lot of money, because you'll definitely want to get the expansion: Poseidon later.

The game is amazing I had lost my old copy and needed to find a new one and amazon is where I found it. I ordered it on a Friday and I had it within 2 weeks, which is the time period I was told. I would for sure buy more games from amazon.

I've played Caesar 3, Pharaoh and recently I finished the x-pats Cleopatra. Enjoyed a lot! Fun city building, resource gathering, manning armies etc etc. It's been a thrill! I used to spend hours staring at my computer monitor, watching tentatively as my kingdom grows. I fell in love with this type of games cause it test your mental power sometime's to the limit. After long hours of AI governing, once in a while I go meditate to ease my aching neurons... Tiresome but satisfaction I get.

As for Zeus... I'm speechless!

I suggest for you to learn Yoga.

*One more thing, I usually raid many times before executing the invasion whenever a Rival Kingdom emerge. Manage to build 160 hoplites and 6 max Tiremes at one time with with only a tiny fraction of Drachmas as startup, 2 granaries around within 4000 population marks also there are no local olives, wine, sheep fleece and even bronze to mined around...... What I did was raid, raid, raid, raid their resources and finally invade whenever the enemy kingdom gone bankrupt! Thrilling to the extreme!

Oh Yeah! I even discovered a perfect city building format for Zeus...... Sounds fun eh? Get one and you'll see. Good luck!

I love this game! Zeus Master of Olympus is a hit. The graphics on this game are terrific. The building selection is humongous. It would take you days to build them all. You'll need to keep your villagers happy by building stadiums and gymnasiums along with many more buildings. This game is a great challenge. You will be trying to bring heroes(such as Jason of the Argonauts) to your city to fight evil monsters(such as the Hydra and Cyclops). While trying to boost your economy up you will engage in warfare. This is the only drawback of this game, warfare that is. It's a very complicated process in which you have to provide food and/or horses to your people so they can fight. Also very hard to make people happy. But I still gave this game 5 stars for it's great graphics and amazing gameplay.

Grate adventure playing game, Excellent Tutorials for eaven the newest player. Not alot of key controlls, easy to adapt to play. Nice graphics and grate for the adventur game player. A diamond in the ruff find.

I have played Ceasar II & III, Phar/Cleopatra and loved them. Zeus was changed too much. In Ceasar etc. I was the primary God. I also found the editor very complicated. My feeling is that it was written for Game writers. I play for fun. The only thing I liked about Zeus was the interaction with other cities.
