OK but not very impressive

Everything about this game is average. I know its just a launch title but when this game and system is so overhyped i expected alot more. The sound is ok, the controls are decent but it just doesnt seem to have the quality of game im used to on XBOX 360. I am sure this will not be an issue later on but i was expecting more from a $600.00 machine. I just hope the other games coming out are not just XB360 ports. Let us pray

If you think this game is good please pick up Gears of War and an XBox 360 and buy yourself a clue. This game is GARBAGE compared to GoW. Worse graphics, worse gameplay, worse all around.

This game is just another generic lifeless shooter game, nothing special about it. It's sad that the PS3 launch lineup is so weak that this is the only game that stands out. Meanwhile XBox 360 players have been enjoying REAL HD graphics in a REAL next generation system for a year now. PS3tanic fanbois eat your heart out.

my friend has a PS3 and the game came with the console.so before he bought it. we played Gears Of War.resistance compared to GOW is a very big difference.RFOM is like an PS1 game compared to GOW.And i really hope there is a game for the Ps3 that has good graphics and a higher frame rate other than that please take my advise and get a xbox360.

After playing gears I was just to spoiled on how well the game looked. This games gun models are great, but the textures and environments are weak. Graphics are a huge part of the game for me. Also the controller for the ps3 blows and is unnatural for FPS. Sry, but its science.

i think this game is highly overrated, its so dull and boring and the graphics are like ps1 status, give me a break, this game is garbage. im going to go play bioshock, peace.

I found this game to be a huge dissapointment. All I heard about was how good the game was and gettin it started everything was so repetitive. Not to mention I felt like I was playing on the ps2 with those graphics. Do not waste your money on this game

PC players, stay away

I've been playing mostly first-person-shooters over the last 10 years, all on PC. I also play console games, but I never tried a console FPS before. I bought this game because of the rave reviews, and hoping that it would support a keyboard and a mouse. Well, that was a bad choice... The graphics are gorgeous and the plot is nice, but the controls are just too frustrating. Aiming with an analog stick is not only harder, it makes the character's movements unnatural. I feel like I'm playing Doom all over, with better graphics.
I guess you get used to it after a few hours, but a mouse is just so much more intuitive and precise, and would make the experience so much more enjoyable.
In my opinion, not being able to use a pointing device in a FPS is the biggest reason why consoles will still fail to capture a lot of PC players... This game is no different. So PC players, beware...

This game is VERY similar to the Xbox game HALO. Since HALO is the best shooter game of all time, it's no surprise that playstation would steel the fad since they don't have any other ideas of their own. This game is ok, but nothing out there really beats HALO.

This game isn't that great.....

I like the story and setting that goes with it, and the weapons are cool.

But after playing it for 30 min at a friends house, this game just doesn't compare with gears of war.

1) You can't take cover besides kneeling
2) Can't go against walls and look around corners.
3) you have a small health bar
4) meleeing enemys is weak and sucks
5) people says you are a ww2 soldier but the weapons i use don't look like ww2 weapons.
6) The graphics really aren't that good.
7) first person only....

I had higer hopes for this game but in the end it just isn't that fun.
