Starsiege: The Greatest Online Game

This game is awesome, i remember when i got this game. I got it from my friend. That Summer and the next i spent all my time on this game. My parents had to steal the cd from me so i would play it. It's that good. If you get board with the same maps and stuff this game lets you change them so your never bored. The online gaming is awesome, the best ever. I'D SAY YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME IF YOU LIKE ONLINE GAMING!

Starsiege is hands-down the best game to come out on the market. I myself am a vetern of this action-packed fast-paced game. I lead my own squad, the Starsiege Mafia, and I've seen all there is to see. A person's first impression is to look at the graphics, yet why dare comparing graphics against gameplay? The controls are a bit harsh to the "newbie" but he becomes familiar with time. The sad truth is, people don't want to play because it takes over a week, and maybe even a year, just to adjust yourself properly to the game. And others are just so lazy, they don't want to endure the hardships of teamwork, which, sadly, I have witnessed personally within the game. And also, take Izzy's advice, he's the ultimate modder. What makes this game so great is the fact that it does take teamwork, effort, time, and sometimes, for us mappers, imagination. A lot do not like the idea of, how did gamespot put it.."Man-made maps", but that's the fun of it!! The ideas in your brain come out in these maps! Overall, get this game, and, amazon, start charging more for it. It deserves much more credit than what you give.

Tribes is better

I own both Starsiege and Starsiege:Tribes. This game is a MechWarrior clone with worse controls. If you like that kind of game, go right ahead and buy this. But, for the same price, you get a better game in Tribes (as long as you don't mind the FPS with a semi-HUD as opposed to the full HUD FPS.)

The game has its pros but all in all the interface is not user friendly. I like games where the battles last more than five seconds, but aren't a center of mass confusion. You're running around, pushing a combination of buttons to direct your troops, and a missile comes out of nowhere and kills you. Spend your money on something worthwhile, the producers of this game did NOT do a good job.

I bought SS when it first came out over 4 years ago. I've have never uninstalled it from my system, and have played it at least once a month since I first bought the game (give or take a few months of no play)

Even today it's still a great game with an awesome community!

Truly a classic.

Starsiege can only be said as a classic. I bought it about 2 years ago and have played it tons. Its a type of game you simpley cant just walk away from. The campaign is great training but multiplayer is what makes the game so great. Check it out, you wont regret it. You may even see me on sometime.

This game is good but it needs more stuff like new vehicles even though there is a good selection to it.Can anyone give me the game makers email because i want to email him/her and ask him something....I give this game a 4 because it has good gameplay and a good storyline as well
and does anyone know how to get the updates for the internet play so you can be the Banshee plane??

The campagn is very challenging. The controls a great.
The feature is the online gaming. There is alot of people still playing it. Its a great game for its time(Starsiege is 6 years of age). The graphics are the best for its time. The Multi-Player is fun with death match, campaign multiplayer, team death match, capture the flag, and Command and destroy.
