This disc includes Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands. Bubble Bobble is a port of the arcade game by the same name. The object is to trap all of the enemies in bubbles, and pop the bubbles. Between shooting bubbles and jumping, you'll want to bring a friend along for all 100 levels. It lacks a continue or any save feature unlike the NES version, but you can give yourself 3, 6, or 9 credits. Rainbow Islands is a sequel to Bubble Bobble, but I didn't find it as fun. While there is an arcade exact version and a graphically enhanced version, it isn't as fun. The 25 levels are a continuous upward scroll. You are no longer Bub and Bob, but two guys that shoot rainbows and hop. You can run up the rainbows, but if you hop onto them they will break. That makes it hard for newbies. The levels are about twice as long, and it is discouraging to play for 15 minutes and just beat level 2. It just isn't as fun. It is a good buy for playing 2 player Bubble Bobble, but it lacks extras and continues.
