I like adventure games, but I like them to follow some sort of logical puzzle solving, so dyou can kind of get inside the mind of the creators, figure out how they think and figure the game out that way. These puzzles are completely illogical, obviously designed to be frustrating, and keep you trying different senseless things to proceed in the game. Also, although the 2D backgrounds were interesting at times, calling this a 3d game is quite a stretch by any definition. Even the 3d cut-scenes were crappy, and the graphics during regular gameplay were just terrible. Supposedly the game made "game of the year" in Europe, they must be pretty hard up over there, now I know not to take that as a commendation.

Another pure adventure game that was enjoyable.

I loved this game. It satified what I like in adventure games. It could have been longer to give the story more time to develop. But I enjoyed it immensely.

Nightlong works on my 2000 ME(Change hardware acceleration)

I change my hardware acceleration to none and then nightlong worked on my 2000 ME. Also if i switch to game compatible setting it works ok.Otherwise it crashes in the sphinx room.For people with newer computers try switching to game compatible or turn off hardware acceleration and the game might be ok then.

Looked forward to playing this game everyday....

Enjoyable game. I think another reviewer said it reminded them of 'MacGyver", that show where the character had to be creative with objects in order to get out of sticky situations. This game is somewhat like that. It wasn't too difficult - I only relied on a walkthrough once. It also worked fine on XP. The only problem is you'll need to download a patch from Dreamcatcher, & after that, you can continue to play.
