Ever played one of those games that you think, wow, even if it's about a decade old, it's still a solid game? Lemmings: Revolution is such a game. Even though its graphics are incredibly dated--the lemmings are drawn in pixels, not polygons--the gameplay is basically the exact same as the original Lemmings from way back when, and the sound effects seem downright childish at times, this game still has a power to suck you in and not let you go until you finally solve that friggin' puzzle. And then it's off to the next puzzle for you!
Believe me, you are gonna have to be on your toes to solve these puzzles. That goes especially true for the ones later in the game, some of which are real hair-raisers. But that's really what this game is all about: using the limited tools you have available to solve any problem the game throws your way. All of the levels are solvable, but it's going to be tough to keep that in mind at times! Honestly, this is about as intense of an intellectual game you'll find that isn't an actual math/English/history tutorial DVD. Though it may sounds as if this would scare moset people away, this is actually the very attribute that keeps drawing you in, instilling that "Just one more level!" attitude. If you're looking for something to mindlessly churn through, avoid this game like the plague, because that's exactly what Lemmings: Revolution is not.
(FYI, for those who can't get the game to run, you have to run it in Administrator mode. I have no clue why, but that has to be done.)

Not really what I expected, and there isn't any real help or introduction; you just get thrown into the game.

The lemmings game I purchased was fantastic. The game arrived in good condition and on time. The whole family has enjoyed the lemmings challenge, it's a great mind puzzle. Thank you.

The worst thing about this game is the lack of technical support. I don't know if the game is fun or not. I'm still trying to contact the "technical support" department to get help. All they provide is an email address. The game didn't load on my computer and I sent an email asking for help. One week later I still have had no response from the "support" team. If you visit the website it refers you to the email address. In short, they don't care whether the product works, or not.
doesn't work well

Even though the case says Windows98/XP, the manual says Windows 95/98. this game keeps stopping on my XP computer. I really thought it would use more advanced technology - it's so antiquated. And I agree, the circular format gets old after awhile. I really liked Lemmings 3-D with all of the different backdrop scenes to work with, but it won't play on this computer. We need a new Lemmings that works well on XP and is lots of fun! This is certainly better than no Lemmings at all, though.
A really good game but buggy as all get out

A neat game to play with your son or daughter but has several serious bugs particualraly at the higher levels. I have not been able to find patches for the errors and the company seems completely out to lunch! If anyone has info please post...

I was hoping this would be a little more like the classic game and I was disappointed.
Worse than original Lemmings, considerably worse than Lemmings 2

I played the original Lemmings game when it came out a long time ago (15 years?). I enjoyed it quite a bit and so when Lemmings 2 came out I bought that game as well. It was a huge improvement over the original with tons of different styles of Lemmings to use. This Lemmings revolution game is a big step backward. There are only a few types of Lemmings to use and the interface seems fairly clunky. It is not intuitive how to scroll around the giant cylinder trying to watch the Lemmings doing their endless march. If you have never played Lemmings then you might enjoy this game, but if you have then go back and play your old version instead of buying this one.
