This game will satisfy if you're a baseball fan. It features a season mode of varying lengths, an exibition mode, and a link game mode. When you play exibition games you can choose between 3 stadiums. Another interesting feature on this game is you can create and name your own team and use them during exibition games.
The stats used in this game came from the 1992 season. The graphics are pretty good, but the sound effects are annoying, especially when your team is at the plate trying to start a rally. Before you begin a game, be sure to turn off the auto fielding. If you don't, it'll be VERY difficult to score runs. We're talking 1-0 17 inning games! However if you turn off the auto fielding you can hit the ball all over the yard. My only complaint with this game is it's hard to hit home runs. Normally rallies consist of singles and doubles without that big time homer. If you want to hit a homer, your best bet is to press down on the D-pad as you swing--this sometimes does the trick. Overall a good baseball game for the Game Gear.
