I thought it was hard too...

This game is very hard to play for little kids. I am 11 and i think that the game is extremely hard for younger players. It was also hard for me to play. I hope that if i manage to get past the first level i will have more fun and have an easier time playing. In general, this game is fun and has a good story. Not a bad game, if you are a really extraordinarily talented game boy player.

This game is perfect for the Rugrats lover.Got the Movie versoin mastered? This one is awesome.I have a 6 and a 9 year old and they both fight over it.

Rugrats Time Travelers is much better than the Rugrats Movie game for Game Boy. I'm an very experienced Game Boy game player, and I think the 2nd [Gold Rush] level is a cinch. So are the rest.

WOw these people must not know how to play video games. this game is rated E for everyone. My 6 year old cousin beat it in a week! I played it and beat it in 3 nights playing it an hour a night. This game is so easy! Sometimes games are so simple people begin to think it's hard i guess. DOn't hand it to an older kid who likes the rugrats, if you can't beat it, hand it to your 5 year old sibling and watch as they master it as if it were a leap frog.

What is up with these people?!?!

This game has great graphics,wonderful characters,and a great plot.At first I got stuck on the ocean level until I found out I needed to have 10 bottles to leave and go on to the next level.(I didn't notice until then)This game has some of the best graphics on gameboy color.My favorite level is the fairy tale world even though it could of used more time.I liked that levels music. ....

all rugrat games are rare if you have any of them do not trade them in or sell them. They did not make many copies of the games that they came out with in a few years their going to be worth real money BIG MONEY! DO NOT TRADE ANY RUGRAT GAME IN IF YOU HAVE ANY! I know this because I looked into this the older they are and the less copies they make of the game the more valueable the game become's in time just be patient. This game is espcially rare the rugrats time traveler's and it's also very hard to beat. I have every game that they made for game boy and up and playstation and up in rugrats I know that these game's are rare because I looked into all this and did extensive research on this if you find any rugrats game on here buy it and clean it up real nice and take good care of the rugrat's game's.

Definitely frustrating and too hard for children

We bought this game for my 5 year old, as her first game. It is definitely too hard for a child. She can't get past Chuckie. I played it too, and as an inexperienced game boy player I found it very frustrating. I did get one level past the Pyramid level, but was extremely frustrated. However, it is very hard to put the game down once you start figuring out the tricks to getting through the levels. Once you get past the first level and find Tommy, the next levels don't seem to be quite as hard. The hardest part is figuring out exactly what to do. I did not realize until I played it for awhile that you won't find Tommy until you find 15 bottles. After that Tommy will appear. Once Tommy appears you can leave the portal to the next level.

I am an 8-year-old girl and I had trouble getting past the Gold Rush level until my Mom contacted the maker of the game and I learned that I had to have zero items in the items monitor before I could get to the next level. And I had to find Tommy. The directions weren't very good. We thought something was wrong with the game.

But once I got past Gold Rush, all the levels are played pretty much the same and it's easier.
