This game isn't a great challenge since a computer can't really think for itself and can get to be predictable and make stupid moves. Of course, luck is a part of the game so it is definitely not without challenge. Even so, for people who just love monopoly, like me, this is a great game to have. It's perfect if you want to play but there's no one else to play with you. Also it's a lot less hassle in setting up and it goes a lot faster. All in all I enjoy the game even though it will never replace the real thing.
Frustrating and FUN!

At the recommendation of a friend, I bought Monopoly for Gameboy Color and it is just as fun and frustrating as the board game. It has several pre-set scenarios, and lets you play an unlimited time or a timed game. You can select 8 computer opponents with different styles of play. The animated Chance and Community Chest cards are wonderful and the music and graphics are great. I love the animated tokens, the dog runs, the horse gallops, I won't say what the car does; You'll enjoy the surprise when you see for yourself. It's frustrating because it seems like the game plays in favor of the computer opponent, rarely landing on your property. The game only has 8 of the 11 current tokens in the current game, but these complaints are minor; this is a great game! Get it; it's more fun to play with friends! (Now if they could only come out with the Monopoly Deluxe for Gameboy Color ...

I must admit to being very much into monopoly. I have a late 1930's addition. I have many different versions of Monopoly. I think the game is great but for one thing... I have figured how to get past the computer players. I won't spoil it for you :o} However, I still love to play the gameboy version. If you love Monopoly I would get the game. You will have many great hours of fun!

I love playing Monopoly and can destroy anyone who challenges me. But what do I do when [others] are too scared to play me? I play this. I wasn't sure if this would be good or bad and was suprised it was not that bad. Still, it is a bit easy but when yur board this will take up some time. I prefer playing the real version but this game is pleasant.
One of the best video games ever!

I recieved Monopoly as a gift and have had a time trying to stop playing it! It is a lot of fun. I like the fact that you can play against another player(s), or play against the computer. I also like the fact that instead of just passing on buying a property, you either buy it or auction it, so the other player can have a chance to buy it, even though the starting prices are always very, very cheap. The graphics are very specific, also. Also, you can have a chance to raise money by selling or trading properies, money, or houses or hotels if you go bankrupt during the game. You can also have a set time limit if you want to play for a certain amount of time. Overall, Monopoly is an excellent game I would recommend to anybody!
Addictive but sometimes too easy

I love the game of Monopoly on the board as well as the gameboy game. But after a few times of playing it on gameboy, I found strategies that made it almost impossible to lose. The only thing that makes me keep playing it trying to get the most amount of net worth at the end of the game. I usually play it when I need something to do for a half hour or so. I would be good to take to jury duty.
