Awesome Game

I really love this game. It is really easy to get addicted so watch out. This is the best game i've played in awhile. I suggest trying this game. It is fun to launch armies against the armies of your enemies. One of the best parts is the need to explore and gather resources.

Heroes and its companion Might and Magic have been a mainstay of turn based strategy for years now and this and the other Chronicles continue the fun.

Warning! If you enjoy this type of game you'll probably lose valuable time from job, sleep, family, etc. I've sat there and said one more turn and looked around and notice that hours have passed.

This is a less expensive version of Heroes I, II, III or its addons. You have a campaign broken into eight missions which get progressively more complex. You can set the difficulty of the missions from easy to impossible. I would suggest using easy if you've never played Heroes before. Veteran players can pick whatever level they like although, to me, impossible is just that. Each mission begins with a short description of what you should do and then a choice of 1 of 2 bonuses. Then a short video and off you go.

Besides your appointed quest (like defeating everyone on the map), you'll also be exploring the territory and developing your town and character.

This is a very addictive game. Since it's turn based and not realtime strategy, it's a more comfortable fit for the more mature player (read that as older with slower reflexes)

This game is like a mix of a Command&Conquer stragety game and an Icewind Dale Role-Playing Game.In the game you can do a campaign like a Role-Playing game or a game where you only play one game and it's done if you have ever played Command&Conquer well what I'm talking about is like a Skirmish game from Command&Conquer. This game is action packed with dragons, grifflins, angels, medusa, pegasus and many more. This is just as good as anyother Heroes of Might and Magic maybe better...Well that's my review,See Ya!

There seem to be two kinds of people when it comes to the HoMM series... you either love it or hate it. Personally, I think this series is amazingly fun and brilliantly implemented.

Yes, it's simple. Yes, the graphics are not the most overwhelming. However, I've spent many a day and evening saying "Ok, just one more turn..." and the next thing I know, hours have passed.

If you like turn-based strategy, you'll enjoy this series. The Heroes Chronicles series (all 4 games) are getting to be harder and harder to find. I'm hoping that 3DO does what they did with HoMM III and it's expansion packs... bundle them all together.

If you like HoMM II or III, you'll enjoy these. Highly recommended.

This game is great! It consists of 10 levels which you play serially. I love the Heroes of Might and Magic games, and this one was no exception. Now that I've bought and played it though, I wish I had the full version of Heroes III instead of just a fourth of it. The other problem? In level 9, your hero goes nuts and you spend three quarters of the time running around killing defenseless peasants. I know it's a video game, but this seriously leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
It's good for a short gameplay, and you can play again at a higher difficulty rating if you like, so it's not exactly a one-time use game.

RECOMMENDED HIGHLY

IT IS FUN ENTERTAINING AND JUST CHALLENGING ENOUGH TO KEEP YOUR INTEREST. ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THERE ARE RESTRICTIONS TO BUILDING YOUR ARMY OF FOLLOWERS.
