I don't know why everyone thought this was such a hard game. You just have to get used to it. When i first picked it up and played, I thought it waas bad...but I later picked it up and started playing, and I loved it. Once you get used to it it gets really fun. The graphics are good, the controls aren't too hard to master, and the game is pretty long. Overall a very good game!

Fun but frustrating at times.

Conker's Pocket Tales isn't a bad game. I love it and recently play it when I have any spare time. I am on the 3rd level out of 6. It isn't confusing, and really isn't hard, except for the fact how you can die so easily. I could sit for hours playing this game, and it is worth every penny! I admit it, it was hard at first, but as you warm up to playing it, it isn't bad at all. I would recommend this game to 8-12 year olds.

loved it

If you want the REAL Conker, get this game. The puzzles are fun and the characters are actaully lovable and easily tolerated.A beloved masterpiece lives on in the GBC version, and it is wonderful to know that future generations will enjoy the classic masterpiece called "Conker's Pocket Tales."

Hard but not impossible. Frustrating but enjoyable

I am a 30ish mom of a 5 year old. I bought it for him. It would be too hard for him to play without some guidence to help him understand what he is looking for in the game.

At first I found it to be confusing and hard, but once you get the hange of it, it's really fun. Just remember...gather all the acorns and conkers you can, every chance you can, and you will be fine.

Great for kids, but parents beware of the N64 conker game

This game is great for all ages. But parents shouldn't be mistaken this game with the Nintendo 64 conker. It's not the same family-friendly game like this one. The N64 version is more for adults because of the M-rated. It's not the same cute little Conker.

Quite a challenge, but fun...

Conker's Pocket Tales is a pretty good game for the GBC, though it can be very frustrating at times due to the fact that you can loose lives so quickly.

Conker's birthday party has been ruined by an Evil Acorn (yes, an acorn), and he's stolen Conker's gifts and his friend, Berri. It is up to you to get his presents back and defeat a variety of the Evil Acorn's bosses to get to Berri.

This game is pretty addictive, but once again, it's frustrating and sometimes it gets hard. What is a game without a good challenge, though? I would not recommend this game to fairly young children or people with low tolerance for games like this one. Overall, Conker's Pocket Tales is a fun game. If you can overlook the frustrating parts, you will probably really enjoy this game!

The evil acorn has stolen Conker's best friend, Berrie and all the presensts, it's up to Conker to find all the birthday presents and rescue Berrie or his birthday party will be ruined. There are also foes such as Honker. You can talk to the acorn villiagers for some helpful information. There are also plenty of puzzles to solve. The graphics look very pixelated if you take a very close look at the screen.

This is a very age appropriate game for young children. There is no violence and each level has different settings and challenges (woods, desert, castle, tropical island, swamp, aztec temple). The game is a little difficult to grasp, but after a couple of days, most children understand it.

Sort of good

I enjoy this game a lot but it's confusing. I haven't gotten past the first level! All in all I would recammened it. Another downside is when you get Game Over it takes forever to get back to the game!
