While priced low, don't be fooled into thinking this is a budget title. It's not. This is a first-rate game at a bargain price. It is a WW II mission-based game in which you control a squad of men into Germany. You can switch at ANY time from first to third person. You can also switch bodies with any of your men at any time, which is really cool. You can command your men to hold position, attack, or follow in a variety of formations. You can commandeer vehicles. The sniper rifle has always been my favorite gun in any game that offers them, and I was delighted to see one here, and it works fine. You must sneak and strategize to survive. When starting the game you pick your squad from 12 available men with different skills. Then you outfit them however you like. This is a nice feature and is more involving than other shooters, but it is very easy to do. There are rain effects, and the grass even blows in the wind. The graphics are great, and I was amazed to find that the game ran smoothly (640 x 480) on my ageing PII 450 with an NVidia TNT 1 video card. I'm running 256 MB ram and 16 MB video ram. I'm running it with high detail. I imagine if your video card is 32 MB, you could crank the resolution higher and still get good framerates. This game even comes with a small manual, which contains most everything you'll need to know to play the game. Others have mentioned a few graphical glitches, but I have seen none of those on my system, and I suspect video card driver problems with those who have had those problems. Bottom line: This would be a great game even if it was full-priced. This is the best money I've spent all year, and I can only hope this low pricing is the start of a trend.

I don't understand some of these negative reviews- this has to be one of the best games anyone has done with the (...) price.
The game is similar to Hidden & Dangerous and Rogue Spear- but in 3D and with less planning. The graphics are excellent and the sound and music are top notch- gameplay just flat out rocks!!!
Don't be swayed by these negative reviews- DEADLY DOZEN is worth every penny and is more fun than Wolfenstien (...). The "big boys" (i.e. Activision and EA) charge more and deliver less game- kudos to NFusion and Infogrames for showing everyone that great games don't NEED to cost $$$ (...)!
It will be the best money you have ever spent on a PC game- ever!
action strategy at its best!

I bought this game last year when it came out. But due to my junky computer I couldnt play it, so I abondoned it and it sat in my game pile for a year until, I decided to install it on my xp system, it worked fine and the gameplay and graphics are great, it had no lag or freezes and i loved it from start to finish. There is a d-day mission that kicks [heiny], and an Africa and Remagan mission, the weapon selection is very small but the weapons available get the job done, the game is very difficult; i spent all day from morning until 8 at night playing it and i beat it, and went back and played a few other missions for fun. The vehichles add greatly to the gameplay and make it much more fun. Although my major gripes are that there should be more Americans fighting along side you and around you during the more large scale missions, and lastly the Germans simply wont go down, i fired an Mp40 into the chest of a nazi at less than three feet away and lost a whole clip before he rolled over and died finnaly. Overall this game is really good if your sick of the all first person no strategy of medal of honor which is still great. Or if you want a solid time consuming weekend killer. This game is low priced and although there is no blood or gore it is great and I recommend it to anyone who wants to kill nazis and not lose 5o bucks doing it.

This game is very addictive. It feels as though you are there. Graphics, sounds & music are great. All for [not much money]. Be sure to download v1.03 patch to correct the bugs.
Great game!

Short and sweet review... this game is awesome for a "value title" it's unbelievably good & rivals many of the games out there that cost 2x as much! I played it & then started playing Ghost Recon... man I miss Deadly Dozen!
They obviously had to cut some features out (no prone position and other minor things), but it more than makes up for it in many other ways (graphics, drivable vehicles, immersiveness, etc).

This game is really the best kept secret of first person shooter games. If your looking for something to hold you over until Medal of Honor from EA hits store shelves in Feb this is the game. Its amazing how little coverage this game gets because it has been priced at [an inexpensive] level. The game is excellent, you will not be disappointed. Its nFusions first game and they have pulled it off and outstanding fashion. Send the software industry a message, buy this game, support quality at a reasonable price!
Better than anything else for it's price!

I was amazed at how good this game is. I bought this game because it looked pretty cool for [price]. Anyway If you play this game you will forget that it is so cheap. This game keeps you glued aginst the screen for hours. It is not just a pushover, easy game like many other shooters, it's pretty challenging. It's graphics are great, the plot is good, And it's cheap. One of the best games on the market. Especially for [price].

Well, my father was in WW2. He watched me play it and said this was realistic. You see trees move and sway. You can hide behind walls and stuff and shoot those Nazis.
AWESOME GRAPHICS (for its time)

This game has great graphics, (provided you have a good graphics card) excellent shadows and light, textures, etc. The gameplay is fairly basic, not too complicated like many new war games. This game is better than some games that I have paid twice as much for. I have so far only played one other squad based game that I like more than this...
Well worth [the money spent]!

I played the demo, liked it and then bought the game! A good fun game with very few bugs. Frustrating at times, but if one way won't work - try another! Very open ended for gameplay strategy. Can't wait for the follow-on, "Deadly Dozen: Pacific Theater"!!
