I really like this game! Here is how I rate it:
Fun=5
It's a really fun game! You can teach the cat tricks, and even enter talent shows! You can also buy toys. Sure there isn't as many as the other games, but the new stuff makes up for it.
Sound=5
They left some old sounds in. I also like the radioe feature! (The radeio is in the kitchen). The music you hear during adopting a cat is nice.
Educational=4
This game teaches people how to take care of animals. But the cats can not breed though. At least the cats drink out of the water bowl more.
Grafics=5
I LOVE the new grafics!
Overall=5

The game in itself is not that bad. However, I'd agree with the writer of a previous review. If you've played the earlier CATZ or DOGZ game do not expect the same thing here. Yes, the graphics have improved but they've changed the content quite a bit. Overall, it's still a pleasant enough game and kids will get a kick out of playing it. As for the other reviews commenting on the difficulty or their inability to install the game, I'd like to reply and say that I have had no problem with the computers in my house. There are two computers in my house running Windows XP and this game installed without a glitch the first try on both of them.

This game is nothing like the previous games with the same title. They took out a lot of the old features and replaced them with a talent show. You can't pick up the cat. You can't breed them anymore. You can't have more than one cat out at a time it seems. There's a money system. The 3D graphics are the only real good thing about the game.
If you like the old versions of this game, stay away.
If you want to train your cat to do tricks, dress it up, and decorate your house with set designs, you might like it.

I would stay away from this. It clearly wasn't tested very well. We tried to install the game three times, on three different machines, all XP, all with the right system requirements and the latest video card drivers and it failed all three times. Never worked. Crashed every time we tried to run it. We're retruning it ASAP.
Wouldn't run for me either

I'm another user for which this program would not work. Installed on two computers that met the minimum requirements (A Windows XP and Vista) and it would lock up the screen immediately requiring a reboot on both.
Ubisoft flatly indicated that it isn't supported on Vista, but the XP acted up in the same way. Searched their website for support or a patch and there was nothing. Returned it immediately. Don't waste your time.
