Unfortunately, this game is probably a game you've never even heard of. Despite Virgin Interactive's past failures like The Lion King game, I decided to give Wolfchild a chance to redeem the company. I can't exactly say what the storyline is because it's nonexistant. But, imagine what would happen if you threw a werewolf into a futuristic setting and made him fight aliens and a wide variety of other creatures. This game has pretty graphics, cool music, cool enemy designs, great platforming gameplay and overall good controls. Although you can only use bombs and punch enemies to defeat them Wolfchild has good combat mechanics that really don't hamper the experience of the game. The bad things about this game are the boss battles can be a bit tough and the controls and camera can be a little sticky during some platforming sequences. This game has indeed become part of my collection of unknown Super Nintendo gems because it's very unique and stands out over many of the platformers you can find on the SNES. Yes, I would recommend this game to anyone who likes platforming games with different gameplay perspectives that really stand out. Too bad no one knows about this little gem.
