Pretty generic...

In the mid-nineties, one of the most unusual games ever released for the Super Nintendo was unveiled to the world - Revolution X. The objective of this game was just bizzare - the members of rock band Aerosmith have been kidnapped, and it's up to you to save them! Despite the weird plot, does this manage to be a good game? Read on to find out.

PROS:
-The game is easy to learn - just point and shoot.
-In some places in stages, you have multiple options as to where you can go.
-Many Aerosmith tunes are recognizable.

CONS:
-The gameplay here is highly repetitive. Just point and shoot, point and shoot, point and shoot... you get the picture.
-Not enough Aerosmith songs are present.
-The Aerosmith songs that did make it into the game sound horrible. This is probably due to the now outdated Super Nintendo software.
-Not even the Aerosmith theme can save this game from being a generic one.

OVERALL:
If you're a die-hard fan of Aerosmith and you want to get all of the Aerosmith stuff you can track down, this game might be a nice addition to your collection. But if you're looking for a cool game, look elsewhere. This game is painfully average.
