Game is Garbage!

I tried out the demo, and I don't see how people can actually play this game, it is a waste of time, I don't even know why I demo'd it. It's garbage, save your money and your GB.

Too hard for part time gamer

This is written by a part time gamer who simply likes to enjoy a game. I find most games are far too difficult for the part time gamer even on the easy setting. All games should have a "Very Easy" option. I suspect that there are many others like me who would buy more games if they were not so difficult.

The game was fine until Act 3 and then it became unplayable for me because it was too difficult. I thought the rest of the game was great. Because this was frustrating rather than fun I give it a 1 star. If they had a Very Easy selection so that I could actually play the game I would have given it 5 stars..

I bought the Guide from Amazon and it helped a lot. I would now rate it 5 stars but Amazon does not seem to allow me to change my rating.

Not for a Console

I've been playing this series since 1998 and I have to say it is completely unplayable on a console. As much as I would like to say it conforms well with this format, it sadly does not. With the control system set up as it is, there are a numerious formats for every structure and unit, and within that are enumerious commands. All of which are displayed in miniscule text. And I'm playing on a rather large screen. If you've played Dead Rising and tried to read the text on that game, well this text is slightly bigger. And I mean slightly. Furthermore, with Dead Rising most of the text you have to read is useless. Most of the text in this game is vital to playing it. Absolutely, and I mean that with the most serious nature a gamer could level, DO NOT purchase this game for an xBox or any other gaming console. This is a computer format game only. Given that, on a computer this game would be great. If you don't believe me about the xBox level of play, please save yourself some money and rent it first. You'll be glad you did.

Great Game but for the PC

Overall this is a great game. but it does play much better on the pc. easier to handle with a mouse. For the most part it doesn't get boring. Kanes wrath should make it even better. I have played Warcraft and Age of Empires (no unit limit) but this game beats them all. Command and conquer always have the best games with the best units.

Online is crazy. people have way to much time on there hands. I stick with the computer and its just as fun. You actually win to.

I give it 5/5 stars. its worth it especially with the price drop. STAY WITH THE PC!

PS. i cant change the star ratings. (stupid computer)

i am a big fan of this type of strategy game, especially warcraft and starcraft. i even loved command and conquer generals. i guess i'm too slow or i suck or something, because i can't get through a certain level, even on EASY. would be fine, if it were a later level, but its not. this is like, the third level. tired of reloading my game, etc.. would rather go play backgammon or something....
is this the new age of rts gaming? am i too old school for this sh#t? i love this genre, and if everything is going this direction, i am already tearing up. i like to spend time and think about my strategy before i attack or whatever. in this game, by the time i've worked out my strategy, i'm toast.
i think i'll just go back to age of mythology for a while......

its ok

This game is pretty good, but theres not that many units, maybe 6 different types of ground troops, 6 types of tanks, 2 types of aircraft. I guess thats not so bad. theres few upgrades cant count exactly. the story line is great. online is great. It just does not compare to Company of Heroes. its just as good as Lord of the rings battle for middle earth 2. Thats why i gave it 3 stars. just wait for Starcraft2 or any other Bllizzard RTS. But since there is very few RTS's for Xbox360 buy this one if you absolutely need a console RTS.

Gets Borring

Overall it was ok but the older starcraft beats this over. It starts to get borring after a while. You have to keep waiting for your units to build very slowly and you keep running out of money and have to reload especially at Sarajevo map. I gave up, it started to be too tedious. On the 360 it is just too slow to move around and the reload/restart of level takes a long time. You just can not move the controller to build fast enough before you are wiped out and have to start over again and then wait awhile for slow loading. Suggest waiting till cheats become available to increase money/resources in game.

Good start for XBOX 360 games

if you enjoy this game on your computer like i do you will see that it is no fun to play it without a mouse---BOTTOM LINE ITS NOT FUN DON'T BUY FOR XBOX

The Best RTS on Consoles to date!

Command and Conquer 3 is the best example to date of how a console controller can sufficiently control an RTS. Couple the best controls to date with great visual and game play design and you have a game worth picking up. One thing notable in C&C 3 is removal of some of the unnecessary babysitting other games make mandatory. This is a fun, well designed, fast action RTS, if you have an HDTV and an XBOX 360 this is one worth picking up.
