The game is very exciting when you are racing against Online and against the computer. On the game you can customize your car to whatever you want it to look like and the decals are sickerning.

Great graphics, awful music

This game is much better than the first one. It has three huge cities, and plenty to do. It's definately the best street racing game available, despite the ridiculous soundtrack. It sounds like bad techno that was put together by a 15 year old kid on his computer. The graphics are very impressive, and the cars have very good control, especially the bikes. You won't believe it the first time you drive one. This game is a lot of fun, but be sure to put on your favorite cd instead of listening to the radio in your car, you don't want the bad music to effect your driving.

Awsome game

I have the game on the PC, and it is awsome! I'd advise many to buy this game. It is especially fun with multiplayer! You race through towns, can run over walking pedestrians, crash, and speed through town while energetic music pumps through your speakers. It is also fun in single player mode, where you can go through different levels doing differnt missions. Well go and buy it, and try it out for yourself, and in the end, you'll never get enough of it!

I hope you like my reviews, you can see more of them at Imovie.com!

So you wan't an honest review on this, not what a bunch of websites have said, allright, I feel you, firstly, there is no real licensed cars in this game, just replications, they couldn't get the licenses due to the street racing, and whatnot, don't worry about it, you won't notice it, the minute you slide this disc in your ps2, you know your in for something, when the rockstar label washes by, anyways, picture, fast and the furious, with a good storyline mode, huge cities, motorcycles that rely on balance and tecnique, skills, you won't be mastering them in a half hour, or a day for that matter, the levels are all VERY challanging, and exciting, the sense of speed is off the hook, you cannot put this down, the minute you put it in the player, sit back, enjoy, so far i've beaten 20% of the game, and you race against challangers all the time, so it's never the same people twice, you race them for there pink slip, and win there ride, then it belongs to you, all the rides have diffrent attributes, and all levels utilise them diffrently, with the cars you have nitros, you just hit l2...with the motorcycles, you gotta hold down l1, and balance your wheel up, into a wheelie, and it gives you krazy speed, basically, this is the BEST racer i've ever played, and i'm from the old school,
i've played them all, this is an arcade racer,
through and through, and online, you gotta get in,
either way you take it, single or online, tell me this isn't the best racer you've ever played, I mean, your racing against four cars, against traffic, with nitro, ghetto bird helicopters,
krazy music, sound effects, and get this, if you slam into a wall more than oh say, three times, it's over, restart, it's like a real race, you got to stay with the pack,
that to me is the best, you will LOSE if you hit walls,
you need to be SURGICAL, allright, i've said enough, in closing, this is the best PS2 Game out right now, and it'sa Classic, BUY IT, i'm OUT

This looks to be the best online racer ever.

I loved the first Midnight Club and I cannot wait for this one. It's main feature is online play, which if executed correctly, could make the series as hot as GTA.

Get Burnout 3 instead

I don't own this game. BUT - I've seen it played on a PS2 (I own an XBox). Overall, I was unimpressed. The graphics look old and the towns crackling with pixelation. Kind of like the games I was used to on our old computers...nothing compared to the smooth, defined glow of the graphics Burnout 3 has on Xbox. You start with total crap for a car, and are supposed to build up as you "break into the underground". Really, you go crawling around in your tank - it says you're going 120 but it looks like you're going 35. Honest, I could imagine one of the pedestrians grabbing a skateboard and keeping up with the cars!

In Burnout 3, you literally rocket through the levels, flying at crazy speeds weaving in and out of traffic. Gets you excited. I watched someone drive their car in Midnight around for a while and about fell asleep...plus, no car damage, or not much. The old school "shove others out of the way, my car's invincible" gag.

Maybe it's just me. Maybe Burnout 3 spoiled me, or I just have alternate tastes. But I don't get why so many gamers stand behind sub-par games. Silent Hill 4 was supposed to be good - CRAP. Halo 2, perhaps the biggest game ever, was hyped to the max - BOR RING. Maybe I'm just got particular tastes in games that I just have to realize, for I've been disappointed recently.

Want good games, I suggest Burnout 3, Wolfenstein for a shooter (its okay) and Mortal Kombat Deception (bloody good fun). But I don't recommend this. Ugh.

good at the time

This game was good at the time it was made, but there r better street racing games. If u want a good MC game then get MC 3 DUB edition.

If I could give it a 0 i would!

This was the worst game I have ever played. I am an avid gamer with some of the best records known in gaming history, and I will tell you, all my fellow gamers out there, that this has to be the most pointless, stupid and boring game that has ever existed on this planet. Not to mention the graphics .... Don't waste your money on it- it's not worth it. Rather spend it on GTA Vice City- way better use of your money folks. Outie.
