Rivals all Survival/Horror I've played

I never would've heard of this game if not for Amazon's suggestions, and was dumbfounded when I got it, played it, and realized I'd never heard nor read about this game before. It's at the top of my list of Survival/Horror games and I cannot recommend it enough. I played it several times through upon initially receiving it and I await to play it again. The graphics are some of the best I've seen on PS2. They put a lot of time into the graphics and storyline. They do seem to borrow quite a bit from the Fatal Frame series as far as the settings (villages) and storyline goes, but I'm not complaining- FF are some others of my most admired games. There are a few minor issues with controls in battle with demons where you just can't seem to aim correctly or use the magic effectively, but it's a small issue, and you get used to the kinks. It's a lot bloodier and gruesome than most Survival/Horror games, lots of blood, hanging body parts, etc.- which didn't bother me. The puzzles are hard at times or the planetary alignments or what to do next, but that sort of adventure adds to the battle aspect- which is not constant and can spare you some time to explore. I cannot remmend this game enough, and wish I could find others like it.
