I know that in December 1994 nobody was thinking about the old NES. Everybody was already four years into the 16-bit era and looking forward to the 32-bit era, but Nintendo was still releasing games at a slow pace. Few people overlooked the fact that even though Nintendo was setting the blueprint for the N64 already, Nintendo was still releasing games for NES, but still putting quality games out for its old frontloading system. One perfect example of this is Wario's Woods. This game was pushing the NES to it's limits in graphics, modes, and even on screen action. The gameplay is fun and simple, you have to match each color bomb to the correctly colored creature. If you destroy all the creatures inside the tree, you move on to the next stage. It may sound simple but it gets trickier as you progress through the game. Although, it does have a challenge it's not way over the top and will appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers. I recommend this game for anyone who wants a decent puzzle game for the NES. I especially recommend collectors pick this one up because of its historical significance being it was the last game on the system and its collectors value. This game might seem like it's common, but in fact it is a very rare and hard to find item since EBgames and Gamestop don't sell NES games anymore. The only place to look for this game is the internet.
