RE DS is so awsome finally a good hand held game besides castlevania ,mario kart ds,animal crossing ds, and metroid prime hunter

This game is awsome two different modes rebirth mode ds version and the classic mode ps1 version both versions are very fun the intro isn't that great considering that its not the version of the Game Cube oh well its still a really great hand held game. I hope they decide to make RE2 and RE3 Nemesis that'll be very cool. Any RE fan and has the ds should get this game. A must buy for any fan that enjoys shooter games or is a big fan of the RE series.

Package was brand new, never opened!!!! If you like playing the original Resident evil for ps1 you will love this game its the same setup. delevery was quick only took three days. will buy from user again

This game is great it is just there is a confusing game to me and the game provide less ammo in normal and in hard.They provide a map that make sense but doesn't tell you what room is it so I will rate it 3stars and the fun is 3stars.

What can I say about Resident Evil? I own and still play all RE games from Playstation; Wii don't attract me at all but I end up buying a Wii for play those 2 exclusive versions from gamecube(RE remake & RE zero) and new RE: Umbrella Chronicles for Wii coming up. So I bought DS just because of this game also, hopefully I'll receive them this week. I remembered playing this game 11 years ago around midnight, man, was really scary back then, today is a walk in the park but I'm huge fan of the series and a must have for any fan. I own the original RE with the long case like DVD case or something, the RE director's cut, the RE remake from gamecube and I will have RE: DS for DS. That's just RE1 games that I have. I own 2, 3, 4 and all the spin-offs versions. Oh, I even own the Japanese director's cut version.

I Picked this game up thinking it was going to be great and BOY IT WAS!!! This game has great graphics and sound. Its a real honor to the Original. It starts with two different modes, Rebirh and Original. All the caracters have been updated with better Graphics. The Rebirth Mode is the Original with Touch Screen and Microphone Abilities, plus a few more surprises. A hidden Easter Egg is when Chris or Jill are in the "Waiting" stance, touch their chest or Butt and watch the reaction. The character animations of Chris and Jill are awesome for those artists out there. If your a RE Fan, Buy this game or your a retard. Its the Best DS Game in my collection, 10 out of 10. Buy it Today!!!

A perfect port of the original Playstation version of Resident Evil. It's just like having a portable version of the original title.

I Love this game. It is only a port of the original, but I never had the honor of playing it when it first came out since I was only six or seven and didn't have a Playstation, but an N64.

When I bought this game, I thought it would just be some random story that had nothing to do with anything, but I was pleasently surprised to learn it was Resident Evil 1. I really didn't believe people who said the dialog was lame in the original, but now I do understand that they were right. I also think the controlls are a pain in the A$$, but you get used to it and then, the game is acually very fun.

You can either play as Jill or Chris, both have different stories and diffrent difficulties. You go threw a mansion that is swarming with zombies and other creepy monsters that are trying to eat you. The game isn't too hard once you get the hang of it, but it is still very fun and is one of the best games on the Ds along with Mario 64, New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart, and UMK. I just hope that the port RE 2, 3, and code vencera to the ds.

so this game for the ds is the origianl resident evil game. with a few new extras. man I forgot how much fun that game was. I know it does not have the graphics of todays new next gen game systems, but it is still a great game. An with the few extras that the ds has has added make the game fun and worth checking out again!

THIS IS NOT A NEW RE GAME OR A BETTER VERSION OF RE1. THIS IS RE1 BUT IT SUCKS ON THE DS!. THE GRAPHICS ARE HORRIBLE AND THE CONTROLS KINDA UNCOMFORTABLE CAUSE IM USED TO RE1 ON THE PS1. I ONLY PLAYED IT FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES BUT DECIDED TO QUIT CAUSE IT SUCKED! A REALLY DISSAPOINTMENT FOR THE RE SERIES! JUST STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL PS1 VERSION!!!!!!!
