This game is a game that you will always want to play because you can buy new stuff, race, and go up levels. I noticed that most people did not like this game, but if your reading theese reports because you want to buy the game take my word if you like games that you can always get better stuff this game is fun.

THIS GAME WIPS OTHER NINTENDO DS GAMES!!!!!!!

for this game, you have to reveiw it compaired for other ds games. you cannot reveiw it by ps2 games or something. saying that it's better for ps2 deserves a duh. the point of this is that it's a portable game. compare it to mario kart and burnout legends and you'll get the picture

I always have been a huge fan of great racing games for several years. Nevertheless, there have been some outrageous standouts. For Sony, they have the massive success of the Gran Tourismo series for the Playstation 1 & 2, Nintendo has scored big with the Mario Kart franchise for several of their great systems, and the Xbox has a few great racing games as well. For Electronic Arts, their Need For Speed franchise has been one of the most popular racing franchises ever. While there have been so many incarnations like Hot Pursuit, the recent success of the underground era, and now a move to get above the law in the tip of your hands.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted for the Nintendo DS system is a hybrid mix of their last 2 versions, Underground and Hot Pursuit 2. The game for the DS doesn't really fair as well as you have with the main console versions. The object is similar to underground to where you have to go all the way to become the worst of the most wanted. The game includes some remarkable cards like the Subaru Impresa WRX, the legendary Ford Mustang, and current classics like the Chevrolet Cobalt coupe edition. The graphics for the game are a bit low in depth and don't have as much in live action gameplay as the home console editions like the Playstation 2, or the recently released Xbox 360. The sound doesn't have as much depth either, so there isn't much in the way of great songs. The control is fairly well to maintain, but can be a bit sluggish when you adapt to a car you've just unlocked for the first time. Not only that, the missions sometimes repeat itself from earlier stages in the career mode.

All in all, Need For Speed: Most Wanted for the Nintendo DS doesn't really add up as well as I originally thought it would. If you are still in the need for speed, I honestly suggest you get the other versions for the Gamecube, or Xbox if you have them. If you just have the Nintendo DS, then this still is a fairly good racer.

The Need For Speed series is not good for the DS. I'll start by saying graphics are HORRIBLE! The races are very slow, even though the screen says you are going 140 mph. There are only about 4 upgrades for your car, and 5 for extirior looks! Your car handles HORRIBLE, making it impossible to win any races! Also, this game is not compatible with the touch screen! 1 star.

Only for those with a severe Need.

After two hopeless hours of gameplay, the game does not deserve a full review. I wish the cartridge was reusable as digital camera memory!

Pros:
1) You can customize the door panel graphics of the car.
2) You could unlock the Ford GT, maybe if you didn't own a copy of Mario Kart DS and were really bored.

Cons:
1) No DS Download and play option, only works with other NFS MW owners.
2) Graphics under par for the series.
3) Gamplay engine is hard to control.
4) Customizing is limited and just a repeat of other Need For Speed releases.

You have a choice, try some other racing game.

Check out the review on IGN. The cars have zero texture and the steering is clunky at best. A total travesty. Plus it is from the makers or Marvel Nemisis which is said to be just as bad. The sad thing is that the first NFS game on the DS was not half bad and had EA just tried to enhance that version, they may have had a hit. Instead they switch studios and the result is far inferior to the earlier game. Shame on EA.

Id save my $40

I got the Most wanted for GC before i got this version, and was soon disappointed in this version. I had been expecting much better graphics for what I paid. Most of the effort in making this game was put toward the length of it, the number of races in the career. The phyics could have been better as well, hitting a wall during a turn at the wrong place can totally stop your car, wasting precious seconds. And the same with accidently hitting another racing car, or traffic car. Personally I would have saved my money had I known this was what the game was like. To be fair, Ive gotten rather far, but its taken a while to get used to overcoming all the obsticles in this game.
