Pretty fun, yet the original was a little better

I do agree with the previous reviewer, this game is just like Spy Hunter. The multiplayer does sound cool although I haven't tried it yet. The levels in spy hunter were fantastic. Tons of action was happening, and there were levels like the streets of prague and stuff. Stuff like that. I loved it. This game starts out a lot slower. The levels start out crappy with barely anything cool looking. They do get better though. Also, they decided to add in some crappy missions. The most stupid is the one at the beggining where you have to protect a van then a plane. Or the boat one later in the USA where you have to protect a tanker. It's stupid when you can't just take the wheel and kill everything in sight.
I would buy the original, it is so incredibly cheap right now. This game does have some fun car action that isn't frustrating but the original is still better. Still, this game is fun and is really easy to learn. Anyone who hasn't played the original should definitely give this one a try.
Also, I would like to elaborate a little more about the levels. After comparing 1 and 2's levels.... Spy Hunter has fantastic looking levels with tons of action. However, Spy Hunter 2 has levels that have less going on and are extremely boring compared to those of Spy Hunter 1. I would buy the original over this one.
So good!!!!

I previously got this game oh I couldn't wait till I got home . When I played the game I thought wow could anything be better than this.
This game has good graphics " Better than the first one "
I like it because it's easy. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it's very short. Happy Playing.
Don't Play With Nostalgia!!!

I wrote a review for Spy Hunter 1 as well....and it's soooo much better. I had high expectations for the sequel after how thrilled I was with the first, but "Hunter 2" let me down. With the first, you could take multiple hits before being defeated. With SH2, if you take 4 hits, you're done, and you have to start the level all over again. You could play the same level over and over and never progress. Graphics are better in the first, and the car is more stylish sporty-looking in the first too. And what happened to the playing of the "Peter Gunn" theme song??? You only hear that in the intro video!!! Don't mess with classic nostalgia!
basically the same game

The reason this game is better from Sh1is because the car can turn into new things like a smowmobile. problem is that that only happens in snow levels andtheres not many snow levels.
Multiplayer is the best part. But 007 games are still better than this one.
Graphics: same as SH1.
Gameplay: Same.
Music: Worse than SH1.
Difficulty to beat: Same.
Overall: Not bad, multiplayer makes it better than the first one.
o.k. game could be better

This game stinks. Get spyhunter 1. The graphics are a little better than the first, but the only thing really better is the car. The only able to have two offensive weapons and one defensive is a bad concept. Having three levels that are boss based (train, plane, and the giant circle thing in the middle of the tundra) is a bad idea, you can't have the same level of expeirence then you can with several different enemies. There is supposedly supose to be more short cuts than the first for more freedom (look at "the making of spyhunter 2") but there is hardly any more than the first one. I strongly recommend renting the game before buying it.
Horrible, just horrible

After the 1st level they count on the impossibility of the levels to make the game seem like it is longer. Bad trick.
Not nearly as fun as the previous version. It's a real letdown.

The first one was so much fun and this one is a real disappointment. Everything is different in a bad way, game play, weapons, missions. Graphics may arguably be better, but not by much. Story line adding a chic is boring, these games have always been about the car. I'm not even going to bother purchasing Spyhunter 3 where the Rock actually gets out of the car.
The bottom line is it's just not that much fun!
Horrible

There is no storyline at all, all you hear is that you're driving a G2742638274 or something Interceptor. The levels are horribly boring, and after the first level it's almost impossible to beat. I gave up because I can't stand doing the same boring level 12 times. This game is worth about $5 at the most. Not worth it at all.
