Good game and I think this is the first game he ever star in but I could be wrong and this is good but there are some bad stuff like when you shoot someone, no blood comes. I guess it T so not much violence. Another thing way too short of storyline. I beat it in 2 days. Controls are not that bad after you get use to it. There better games then this like True Crimes...hopefully Jet Li will make another game and more movies.

This game sucks. Graphics, gameplay, sound, etc. The only good thing is that your thumb gets excersice.

Wow. When I walked into the video store, I was thrilled to find that Jet Li Rise to Honor was available. I get home and look through the instruction booklet, and am already confused by the craptacular controls. The graphics in this game are not in any way good. They are most definently BELOW average. The fighting system is okay, and I like the blocking mechanics, but everything else suck a**. The guns............ALL YOU GET ARE HANGUNS! And, you can't run out of ammo! The aiming system is crap. Plus all the enemies look like here about to audition for Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. You know all those clips you saw on commercials, that made you say" hey, this game looks kinda cool"...........those were all cutscenes! This game sucks. It was a total waste of my time, plus, this game is too hard anyway. Bottom line, half of the time I was playing I wanted to burn the game and throw my controller at my PS2. This game sucks. If you buy this, you're probably one of those kids who takes the short bus to school. THIS GAME SUCKS!

I rented this game hearing it was but is awful. the controls r all with the analog and r and l buttons which is very stupid in hand 2 hand fighting, while gun fighting and sword fighting fun the controlls r still hard and the enemies is very and theres a diffculty level except u have to unlock on my opininon definately rent this game and dont buy it cause u get tired of it pretty soon

This game is awful because it was way to short and easy. The best thing in the game is the graphics and you get to play the karate master, Jet Li. Fighting is really boring because its the same thing over and over again, punch,kick punch,kick punch,kick. It was a complete waste of time and if your going to make a karate game keep the guns out of it 'cause then you can just shoot people the whole game. The storyline was bad too. From reading this review i think everyone will agree with me that this game is a downgrade to Jet Li's stardom.

I've done a lot of reaserach of this COOL game, i'm even in the process of buying it! This is the story:

Rise To Honor~

You play as Kit-Yun (which is Jet Li's Chinese name) who is a Chinese Intellegence Officer. His mission is to go under cover and pose as one of Boss Chiang's bodyguards, but he really isn't. You start out in Hong Kong, fighting triads and stuff. And on the last Hong Kong level 15 (i think) Boss Chiang is shot by a skilled sniper called Cheu'ng. In Boss Chiang's last dying moments, he requestes Kit, who he's trusted ever since Kit was his bodyguard, to give an important envolepe to his daughter, Michelle Chiang, in San Fransisco, U.S.A. Kit-yun goes to U.S.A, in hope of finding Michelle, who lives a pretty normal life. Boss Chiang was rich, he died, but lost all his money. His gang is almost over, payments haven't been made, and the criminal top-dog of San Fransisco, Billy Soon, wants money. Gangs from China and USA try to track down Michelle Chiang, in hope of kidnapping her and getting their money. If Kit-Yun ever has hope to find Michelle and bring her back to Hong Kong, alive, he'll have to use his wits, martial art skills and his honor...to make sure Michelle gets the envelope and doesn't die so then...he can rise to honor........

easy at first, hard later

This game is fun the first time you play. At first, it's very easy. Then, the next thing you know, it's tricky. Some moves are hard to do and it doesn't have a tutorial or a practice mode to learn how to do moves or anything. I found that a little disappointing. One part was really hard and I could just not beat it and I got frustrated (A LOT). This game is for older kids and I am not going to play it for a LONG TIME seeing I can't get my money back or atleast enough to get something else.

this game is cool. way better than bond that just came out. spend your hard earned money on this one instead. Characters are way cool, environments are the best and the game play is good fun once you get hang of conrols

I would have given it 5 stars if it had someone cooler like chuck noris instead. Jets cool though and the game looks good so I give it 4

As bad as his films!

Jet Li has one good film, "Fist of Legend". Sadly, this game ignored that film and instead gave us the jet li that noone seems to be able to direct properly. li is a brilliant martial artist and is wasted due to poor direction. "Rise to Honor" is poorly directed. the controls are bizarrely set up and the dreadful "stealth" levels as well as the even worse shooting levels kill this game. the martial arts parts are excellent but very repetitive. i think that jet li should not have creative input on his projects. he should have the guys who did "ratchet and clank" do his next game!
