Terrible, but better than 1 and 2

This game isn't that great. I didn't like the characters. The worlds in this one is retarded and it was an easy game. But it's still better than parts 1 and 2.

you probably want to rent this before you buy

this game is ok. the graphics are ok, but the cars look like crooked polygons. The controls are easy, but the weapons seem sluggish. also is a bit easy. one thing you will like is that they put the best cars from the series in there.they changed the specials on a few cars,(and modified some) but the new specials are pretty good.i like playing as sweet tooth, whose special was changed to an ice crean bar that slides around until it hits a car a few times. the levels are so-so, you will probably only like half of them. also, its a little more based towards the younger crowd, so it might seem a little kiddie to older people. all in all, an ok game, but you should rent first to see if you like it.

I say that this game is the bomb, but just as good as TW 2. I rented it last summer and it was AWSOME. 12 year-old gamer, you STINK! I am buying the game today!

Twisted Metal:Small Brawl rocks....

Out of all the Twisted Metal games that has ever come out, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl is the one you'll hear the least about. Yet, in my opinion, is about one of the most fun of them all to play. It came out after Twisted Metal Black. It's easy to see that this game is pointed more toward the younger crowd but, being a Twisted Metal fan, I loved it just the same. In this game, Calypso is a schoolyard bully who harasses the characters into joining in an RC car version of the Twisted Metal contest. All of the game's drivers are all children who attend the same grade school as him. They all command miniature versions of the cars they drive when they get older. Eleven characters are available from the get go with 5 more to unlock, having mostly every one of your favorites in the roster. There's 8 levels to battle in..Playground Peril, Carn-o-maul, Easy Death Oven, Minigolf Mayhem, Meat your Maker, Gridiron Gore, Treetop Rumble and Now Slaying!. It's a younger, more lighthearted approach to the Twisted Metal formula but fun. I love it.

Fun but easy...

I found Twisted Metal Small Brawl to be entertaining, but I beat the game the second time I played it! Not very challenging once you get past Trapper (a psychopath vehicle in the Minigolf Mayhem stage). I will still definitely play this game because of the concepts, graphic design, and themes are very interesting. It's just not very challenging. It's the whole scheme of it though, because I can't wait to see how Calypso teaches all the opponets to be careful what they wish for. Just like he gave Hammerhead his dream of being a rock star - but in a boy band?! Ha ha ha, I love it. I would definitely buy this game even without the challenge element for the sheer entertainment of it.

Fun Game...In Spirit

This is a one of the Twisted Metal series sequels that was designed for little kids as opposed to Twisted Metal: Black which is for Twisted Metal fans and those that are fans of gothic humor. It has a good design, although some of the levels are really, really small. You can barely move in them...especially if you are using some of the bigger vehicles. Another good thing though is the use of environmentals (which actually don't suck like in Twisted Metal 3 and 4). The lawnmower with the guy in it, for instance. Also, the hidden levels are pretty cool, especially the bowling alley. However, one critical element is missing: hidden areas! There are virtually none whatsoever! What's the deal? Lastly, the handling of the cars is similar to remote control cars -- acceleration, turning and everything...If you ever owned a remote control car, you'll get the meaning! Well, it's an overall pretty good game, but it could be done better...

Why is a good game so exspesive?

This isn't a bad game- definitely better than Twisted Metal 3, but still, the controls weren't all that great, and I got bored after about a half-hour. However, it is hard to come close to Twisted Metal 2, which might I add, is the single GREATEST vehicular combat game EVER.<- (my opinion) If you like Twisted Metal games, you'll love it, but if you're in it for fast action, intense combat, I'd recommend Twisted Metal 2. Still, a great game, and a good twist on the vehicular combat theme.

loved it!

when you look at the cover you probboly think, ha ha that game (is bad). i didnt think that because i lovr the twisted metal series!i own them all! and alot of people say it's babyish. no it's not, you get chased by skulls, ground up at a bloody meat factory, chased by a demented farmer on a tractor through an old movie theater, it is just like the old twisted metal games. and you DO get weapons like homing missles, bombs, remote bombs, fire missles and some new ones like enviormental pic-ups and roman candels. there are also some familer charectors like sweettooth, mr.grim, slam, crimson fury, hammerhead, outlaw, warthog, thumper, twister.... well you get the picture. it's a damn good game!

I'm so glad!

I was so happy when I saw a new Twisted Metal game come out.
I saw it and it was called Twisted Metal: Small Brawl.
I loved the game! I gave it a 4 because the graphics could of been better. The character designs are funny and cool, like Spectre is a kid with a cloth over his body with eyeholes cut out like a ghost. I liked the game when I played it at a store and I wish I could of played it more. The levels are big but the only problem is...no secret areas like you can blow up the Eiffel Tower in Twisted Metal 2: World Tour. So what you see is what you get. I'm not going to spoil most of it so...FIND OUT YOURSELF!
