I bought this game years ago at walmart without knowing a thing about the game. I knew NOTHING. Had never even HEARD of it and did not know of Final Fantasy Tactics either. I just bought it because it seemed pretty good and I figured I could always take it back.
This is, without a doubt, my favorite game of ALL time. It ranks above Diablo 2 on the PC. The gameplay is amazing. The story is fantastic. The twists and turns and replayability is outstanding. The hidden gems are superb. The music stays in your head.
I have logged well over 500 hrs on this game and since it's been at least 4 yrs since I've played it I think it's time to jump in again.
Trust me. If you like turn-based strategy games....if you liked FFT, you will absolutely LOVE this game. Well worth the money.
Be prepared to set aside LOTS and LOTS of free time. The days will melt away before you know it.
