i thought it was really fun. if you liked goldeneye, you'll like mission:impossible!
the graphic aren't very fancy, but are serviceable an reasonable attractive.
it's all the cool stealth and gadgetry that really makes this game what it is... lots of sneaking, neat missions, character, and spy stuff...
i can't wait to see what infogrames has in store for the release of the next m:i movie!

Mission Impossible may not be as great as Syphon Filter, but it holds it's own in this genre. Anybody that likes espionage and action should get this game. The plot of the classic movie only takes up about 50% of this game's plot. The rest of the plot deals with you trying to stop an arms dealer from selling nukes to an unamed terrorist country. The control is a little loose and the graphics are just average, but the fun factor of this game is worth the price. You get to do great spy things like take on other peoples' identities, sneak around bases, and blow Jim Phelps to Kingdom Come! The game even includes some humor into the dialogue which all spy fans can relate to. Overall, if you love the genre of Action/Espionage, get this game now. Don't forget to buy the classic Syphon Filter too!

Just like the movie, this game has no plot, and it blows. The weapons are average, the animation is average, and the game in general is sub-par.

This game could have had more creativity worked into it but instead you have something that has no "intrigue" just your USUAL BORING arcade fair. The plot line is nonexistent so you don't feel like it's urgent to get your "missions" done and the gameplay itself is SO basic that anyone can accomplish them easily. There's no challenge and the plot doesn't compel you to feel as if you were in the story. The voice overs used are either comically cartoonish or lame. I resold my version as soon as I played it and rented TENCHU instead. This game didn't exactly suck, but it didn't exactly keep me interested.

I found that the graphics on this werent top of the line. The guns are not as good as sython filters which is awesome. The gadgets are cool. The only thing that I would say is awesome about this game is how you can hear voices instead of dialog. The levels are pretty easy. This game is not the exact thing as the movie also.I would recommend this to anyone that likes games were you sneak around and plant bombs.I think this would be good for people who just got playstation and want a action game.

A pitiful port of the Nintendo 64 game, Mission: Impossible looks dated in all directions, from the clumsy gameplay to the ill-fated graphics. And it just surfaced a couple of months ago, before the sequel is released in theatres this summer! Talk about bad timing...someone needs to self-destruct this game.

For those people who loved the Nintendo 64 version of Mission: Impossible, or if you have Playstation and are looking for something like Rainbow Six mixed with Syphon Filter, this is the game for you. The best things about this newer version are 1. better graphics 2. cinema scenes now are awesome fmvs 3. characters talk instead of written dialogue 4. levels are more difficult to complete, yet not impossible (no pun intended) The only downside is that the extra mission at the end of the N64 game where you talk to the people who made the game isn't here and some of the character animations aren't as good. but if you don't own, or even already do own mission:impossible for N64, this is a really good game. (don't listen to the other reviews! )

I recently recieved this game for Christmas from "Santa". Thanx Santa! At first while playing I had a little bit of trouble figuring it out. About two weeks later when I played it again I took my thoughts and strategies a step higher. This game does require a bit of thought and thinking outside of the box. The graphics are pretty good, there is a good use of tools and weapons, and the game is realistic (most of the time). I cannot say whether or not this game follows the movie - I haven't seen it. All I can say down that road is the part where Ethan must break into or accsess the world's most highly secured computer is in here. In my opinion, the best missions in this game are the CIA escape and the mole hunt. They are both full of action and suspense. The only down-side to this game is that it's a bit dated. When I saw this in a store I could not see the full title due to a price tag blockage and had originally thought that this was the M:i-2 game. However, no matter how old this game is, it's still awesome.

This is a very fun game that is more challenging than anything else. When you look at the recent Mission: Impossible hollywood remakes, and look at what the game does, it has the whole shibang: the face masks, the bombs in submarines, the gas chambers, the hidden secrets in the vents, mysterious women in red and so on. It is a very social game where walking and talking reveals a lot of the secrets. It is as real as a video game's gonna get, with guards looking at you constantly just to see if you are in with any foul play. The map is very usefull and adds to the fun. It's a very time-consuming and enjoyable video game.
