Wow, thinking about this one really takes me back. At the time, this was the best baseball emulator out there for the original NES, and had probably the best game interface of all the original "Bases Loaded" games. You could play an entire season in one of two divisions, and if you won 75 games during that season, you would qualify for the playoffs, and then could advance to the World Series.
Pretty lame by today's video game standards, this was truly a wonderful game for its time, and still fun today if you can dust off an old cartridge and find a system that still works. For what it's worth, my favorite team was "Jersey", and I still know most of the starting lineup by heart. I think that says it all.

I can remember plotting the "bio-rhythms" of my players on graph paper to see who I should pitch in the next game and who should blast some homeruns for me! This was an awesome baseball game for it's time. It was almost a baseball/strategy game because your players actually went through hot streaks and slumps based on their bio-rhythms. Classic.
