Digimon Rumble Arena is a game in which you can be a Digimon from seasons 1-3, and you get to harness their special abilities, such as digivolving and special attacks. The pros about this game are that the controls are user friendly and easy to pick up, the voices are pretty close to the TV show, except for a few people, and there are secret characters. Unfortunetly, there's only one secret level, very few secret characters(Although as you beat the game with certain digimon, you get their digivolved form in 2-player mode) and the secrets are VERY easy to get. All in all, this is a good game to keep from being bored for a while, but unless you play 2-player all the time, it gets old pretty quick.
Lots of fun for Digimon fans

Easy to learn and lots of fun! Characters include Agumon, Gabumon, Patamon, Gatomon, Wormmon, Veemon, Guilmon, Terriermon, and Renamon, with Impmon as a secret character. Most of the secret characters are simply mega versions of the rookie digimon, but there are some very cool surprises...you'll just have to find out for yourself. ;) This game is somewhat similar to Super Smash Bros in style. Multiplayer action, though limited to 2 players, is quite entertaining. To make things more interesting, each Digimon is assigned an elemental type (earth-fire-water), and each type is strong against one and weak against the other. Sort of like a game of rock-paper-scissors, and a lot like Pokemon. I give this game only 4 stars because I really dislike a lot of the English VA's. I wish the option of a Japanese game mode could've been included, but ah well...it's still a fun game.
The best Digimon game created so far

This amazing game had all that you could want. You could Digivolve to your MEGA form, you could unlock secret charecters like Omnimon, also you get Gabumon, Agumon, Patamon, Terriermon, Guilomon, Renemon, Wormon, Veemon, and Gatomon as starters. This game is very much like Super Smash Bros. except better. I suggest this game to anybody who likes battling with Digimon.

this is a very fun game, but it does have a few problems. the voice acting is of low quality and the rest of the game cannot make up that fact. oh and the instructions could be a bit more helpful. though, those are like the only things wrong with this game so it is still worth buying, in my opinion. yet, not everyone can truly enjoy this game so i recommend it to digimon fans. lastly, when you go to options there is an option called "input password" where you can type passwords to get characters and i happen to know a few passwords: KIMJOY, LINMON, ROYBOY, MINNYN, SERIUS, KENSAN & QRIOUS.

How To Unlock Digimon
In one player mode and vs compuyter, you start out only able to play as Agumon, Gabumon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Wormmon, Renamon, Guilmon, and Terriermon. Here is how to unlock the other playable Digimon:
REAPERMON Win the game in 1-player mode.
BLACKWARGREYMON Win the game in 1-player mode, without losing a single round. You must win every round of every rumble.
OMNIMON Win the game as both Agumon and Gabumon.
IMPMON Beat the game in 1-player mode with Guilmon, Renamon, and Terriermon.
BEELZEMON (BLAST MODE) Beat 1-player mode with Impmon.
IMPERIALDRAMON (PALADIN MODE) Beat1-player mode with Veemon and Wormmon.
WARGREYMON Beat 1 player mode with Agumon
METALGARURUMON Beat 1 player mode with Gabumon
SERAPHIMOn Beat 1 player mode as Patamon
MAGNADRAMON Beat 1 player mode with Gatomon
GALLANTMOn Beat 1 player mode with Guilmon
SAKUYAMON Beat 1 player mode with Renamon
MEGAGARGOMOMN beast 1 player mode with Terriermon
----------------------------------------
It also has seven different arenas to play in:
1. FACTOY PLATFORMS
In this arena, there are multiple floating platforms to jump and fight on, but if you fall off and another platform isn't below it, you lose some life. It the upper two corners there are two teleporters. You run in through one teleporter, and you run out through the other, so that you are on the opposite side of the arena. Be warned: when you hear beeping, get up onthe top platform, because if you don't, the platforms will slide you, and some boxes, off into the bottom platform, which has now opened and appears to be a waste burner. Needless to say, if you fall into it, you lose some more life.
2. WATERFALL
This arena is a waterfall with trees to climb up on. Do not jump off the waterfall, or you'll lose some life. Also, frombehind the waterfal come boulders which knock you off the waterfall, losing life. Avoid those.
3. ROTATING...SQUARE?
You are in a square shaped area, and there are multiple platforms to stand on. The only background danger is that every few minutes the square movie sideways or upside down, sending you falling to the new bottom of the arena.
4. PLATFORMS IN THE SKY
This is qite possibly the most dangerous arena of all. Not only will you fight an oppenant Digimon, but you'll also have to stay on the platforms at all times, or else you'l fall thousands of feet to the ground, losing life. Also, this sky arena has thunder and lightning. When the clouds and sky begin to turn grey, get away the grey tiki head thing in the middle, as well as the constantly moving gray boxes. Those are the areas most often hit by lightning.
5. ICEBERG
Three icebergs, each (except the bottom one of course) above another. The ice isslippery, and it is easy to slide into the freezing water and lose life. Also, occasionally, the ends of the midle iceberg will drop into the ocean.
6. VOLCANO
You fight and attack on platforms of cooled lava, and try to avoid falling into the hot lava in between platforms. Pushing your oppenent into the lava, however, is a good technique to use in this arena.
7. VIRTUAL REALITY
I just call it that because it ha all of these neat lights and patterns changing in the background. Also, the purple strings with one eye in the background look like the Kuramon from the TV Movie "Digimon Zero Two: Revenge of Diaboromon." There isn't any danger in this arena, no platforms or obstacles. It is just pure rumble, you and your opponent. Inthe 1-player mode, this arena is where you fight the boss of the game: Reapermon. Defeat him, and you will be able to unlock this arena fr Vs. Compter mode. (this is the only locked arena).
----------------------------------------
ALSO
By pressing R1 when picking some of the Digimon, their Tamers appear differently.
AGUMON/wARGREYMOn (R1) Tai appears in his seasn one outfit, rather than his season two outfit.
GABUMON/METALGARURUMON (R1) Matt appears in season 1 outfit, not season 2 outfit
PATAMON/SERAPHIMOn (R1) T.K> is in s1 outfit not s2 outfit
GATOMON/MAGNADRAMON (R1) Kari is in s1 outfit, not s2 outfit.
STINGMON/WORMMON Ken appears as Digimon Emperor, not as he does after he stops being Digi Emperor.
Plus:
It may seem like you can't battle the same Digimon you play as (x: mnimon vs Omnimon) but you can, by pressing the select button when choosing your opponent. Your oppenent will be miscolored so that you can tell which Digimon YOU are rumbling with.
----------------------------------------
This game is fun to play, an instant classic in fighting games. I extremely recommend playing with Stingmon, he's got great speed and agility. Anyway, this game is a treat for Digimon fans and Non-Digimon-Fans alike.

I own this game and love it, despite the fact it's sort of like Super Smash Bros. Melee but, not really a copy of it or, anything. Well it is not as cool as Super Smash Bros. Melee or, even the original Super Smash Bros. I still think it's great! The only thing I really don't like is that Takato has a voice actor different than the one in the TV show. But other than I like it a lot.
THIS GAME IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!

GAMELAY 4/5
This game is quite fun and it's hard to put it down. But there's two mistakes take make me give 1 less star. Here is it: When Digimon digivolves, there will be a pause. Then its partner will shout something. Then a voice "DIGIVOLUTION!" and finally digivolving. Why should they take such long time? And second, when attacking, you have to shout the attack's name in order to attack. When you and your opponent have only one life left and one more attack should K.O. either one, the attack with the shortest name come out first and the another one that's shouting the name get K.O. first, right?
MUSIC 3/5
In my opinion, it is quite annoying and brake your concentration.
GRAPHICS 4/5
Good enough, except for the last stage, where you battle Reapermon, the background get so colorful that weak people may get a headache or vomit, etc.
CONTROLS 5/5
Easy to control, escpecially when you can use L3 and R3.
Digimon Rumble Arena is a GREAT GAME!

Digimon Rumble Arena is a great game. There are a whole bunch of characters which are from all 3 seasons. Each one has it's own attacks. There are also many secret cahracters. You can also unlock digimon by inputting passwords. I don't know any but I unlocked all of them. In my opinion there is only 1 con. Reapermon is too powerful. All his moves do too much. His O button attack does twice as much as regular O button attacks. I think the best digimon is either Omnimon or Imperialdramon. They have both long range and close range attacks. YOU SHOULD BUY IT!
