This third Crash outing boasts the best graphics, intro sequences and visuals of the series, and there are even moments of dialogue from various villains between levels.

Though early levels are excellently addictive, things soon descend into the level of seen-it-all-before. The bike ride was a novel idea but it gets wearisome after two-dozen times or so, and you can't help feeling the bi-plane shoot-em-ups et al were thrown in for the sake of it, as though there was some list of things that hadn't been done in this series that was being crossed off.

Might provide entertainment, but only in the short-term.

The lucrative phrase "free-roaming levels" is a misnomer...Crash is still VERY limited as to where he can explore; however, there is a little more variety since Crash & Koko can ride different vehicles (a la Tomb Raider II & III). The graphics are definite eye-candy and the bosses (fortunately) seem to be a little tougher. Also, the game gives you different goals to accomplish so if you want perfection, Crash: Warped has more playability than the other 2 games. If you are a fan of Crash or platform-type games, this is a definite must have!

You can explore 5 lands, 5 different levels in each land. There is 5 secret levels. So that is why I give it a 5. You can also be Coco, Crash's sister!

A great game

This game is great. You go through 5 different time portales. Each one has five different levels in it and at the end you face a boss. What you have to do is collect the colored gem and the crystal. Guess what. It's not as easy as it sounds. This game pits you against tons of different enemies appropriate to the level. The only thing that takes a star away from this game is the fact that level ideas are repeated. For example there are two different water levels with not much difference. Oh! one more thing. press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, square at the title page to get a playable demo of spyro the dragon. This is a great game for anyone who likes playstation

Graphics: 10/10 - The best visuals of the series! The colours shine fantastically and it all looks stunningly beautiful. The characters are clear and the game has backgrounds I could feast on.

Sound: 9/10 - Great uses of evil voicing and fantastic sound editing detail makes Crash 3's sound get a notch up.

Value: 10/10 - You'll be begging for more!

Overall: 10/10 - Fantastically detailed game that mixes genres and characters into a big story that erupts with fabulous enjoyment. In short: buy it.

A Whole NEW game...Crash 3 is the second best of the series

With even more gameplay options than the 2nd, and even better Graphics-Crash Bandicoot 3:Warped reinvented the whole Crash series with a totally different look and feel. Gone is the native island undertones, the sounding drums and beats, the native temples of the past. Instead Crash 3 pushes for a much more different aproach. A world of collected different time zones-the medival era, aincent Egypt, the stone age. Crash 3 takes on a whole new look of it's own, making it more than a perfuctionary sequel, while Crash 2 remade the orignal, at the same time bringing more innovative gameplay, Crash 3 strides to be a game that can seen as a game that stands on it's own. Mounted with even larger proportions of gameplay and bigger levels, Crash 3 trys too hard to be at the top of it's peak, and yet to an extent it succeeds--that is the games main weakness. While the devlopers at Naughty Dog* stressed with creating more advanced gameplay, at the same time one can say they kind of fell behind and forgot about the whole story aspect-for this is even less story driven than it's predeccors. Like I said the attention is more on gameplay-not a bad thing, but the only problem this time around the makers are working with a totally differnt enviorment than before. With Crash 2 the makers had the distinct advantage of going back and making everything better, while at the same time coming up with new enviroments as well. Not only that , Crash 3 lacks some of the depth in it's levels that made the levels in Crash 2 so darn fun to keep going back again and again. The levels in Crash 3 are lacking in that respect. Like I hhave mentioned in past reviews (for the other 2 games) Crash 3 in the lightest in tone-not problem with that...it just might bother people who are familar or die-hard gamers of the first 2.(I can say it bothered me abit, but thats e of course, I'm really picky) Anyways Crash depsite some minor draw-backs, is still one of the very best platformers ever made--in fact on it's time of release-it was called the very best Playstation had to offer. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions, thats why I can say I prefer the 2nd game.

This is so much cooler than the first 2. It has better graphics and cooler music. It takes you back in time to medieval times, egyptian times, arabian times, the 50's, and best of all: The future! There even more games and puzzles this time! You'll see this is better than the the first 2. This is a must have NOW!

i think crash bandicoot 3 is a very good game the levels go into very good detail my fav level is the bikeing level crash is one of the best games iv'e ever played
