A VERY GOOD GAME TO CONSUME TIME. YOU CAN ENJOY REPLAYING DIFFERENT MISSION AND TRYING DIFFERENT STRATEGIES TO FINISH THE MISSIONS. SOME MISSIONS ARE QUITE DIFFICULT TO FINISH.
ORIGINAL! MUST GET

this is an incredible game. The music, sound and replay value are high. It's like red alert but the only downside is that, the graphics. If you have rEd alert, then get red alert retaliation, but i you don't get red alert, because red alert is more fun. If you don't have any games like this, then well, this is violent, but it's cool cuz you get to shoot people, throw grenades at them, run over them, and other kool things
great game

This game, which I bought 6 months ago, am still playing now. Even with the same enthusiasm as I had when I first bought it. This game takes getting used to, but it's basically something that you could do in your sleep. Thanks Westwood, for making a great game!
Bottom Line: A Definate Buy

First I played the Command and Conquer on N64, and absoloutly loved it. Then I played the version for Playstation on my Playstation2, it was even better! I was so glad that Westwood, and EA had made yet another fun strategy game!

This game was one of those that I had back on the N64 several years ago. I immensley enjoyed it then, and now is no different. If you are looking for a good game to test your reflexes and mind at the same time, then this is a great place to start.
On Commando Missions, you are a single solider armed with a pistol and C-4. Most of the time, your mission is to destroy a single building with the C-4. But getting there is the tough part. On standard missions, you can play as either GDI (Good Guys) or NOD (Bad Guys). Each has there different missions and locations that the battles take place in.
There was only one problem that I came across with the PS rendition of this game. If you or your opponent should have too many characters on the battle field, your pointer has a tendancy to be very slow. Several times I would need to move a group of my army to attack a target. But since there was alot of stuff going on at the same time, the commands would be slow to enter. Many times I would have to constantly click on a specific target to get my group to attack. Then because of the over clicking my team would become unselected.
If you should have a cheat device, (Game Shark or Code Breaker) then this game opens up alot more options and fun for you. If you are a purist(No Cheating) this game will still bring HOURS of enjoyment and frustration.
All in all, a very good game.
