Before any fans jump to any conclusions let me say the series is fun but the Wii controls are so bad that they nearly make the game unplayable. For example, in the second level in co-op one player needs to paint an automated machine gun with the electronics blocker on your pistol. Easy right? No because if you breathe the Wii remote will move off and the machine gun will fire and kill your partner.
I like the Wii but after playing this game on it I would recommend renting games not specifically intended to be played on the Wii, otherwise the radical control format may seriously detract from an otherwise decent game.

Man. The Wii is very good for some things, but it appears that at least this PFS is not very good. The Wii remote is very jerky and sensitive. This makes aiming difficult to impossible. The graphics are OK. The storyline, is ok. It another Clancy sneek around and hope you don't get shot because you are going to die in very short order. I hope Call of Duty is better as I LOVE FPS games, but this one is lacking.
The camera should not be allowed to go off screen, it should stop at the edge of the screen. Too many control issues to recommend. I will keep trying, but this game isn't so good that I will press on through the control problems just to get through it. I may have it up on eBay soon.

Over all this game is alright, graphics are definetly not all that stellar with some visual glitches here and there. The story and voice acting are still as good as previous installments. Gameplay is solid, though controls are a bit of a problem. Old button commands have been moved to twists and flicks on your wii mote. Twist your nunchuck to sneak across the wall or move it up or down for jumping. Camera is controled by moving the wii mote in the desired direction, and lockpicks are performed through twisting the wii mote to the proper position. Co-op makes a return in this instalment, and is fun as always with a buddy.
Its a decent starting title for the Wii, but fans will miss their normal controlers.
Good idea, bad concept...

At first when I glanced at the box, I figured that the gam would be a good concept for the Wii. Basically become Sam Fisher would be something to be excited about. I also had to invite my friend over for Co-op. Here's where it fell apart.
The game started out nice to begin with. My friend and I were still learning the controls for the game and trust me, it took awhile to finally learn and semi-master at doing. It took around 45 minutes to finally get the basic concept of it all before actually attempting the game. Without the instruction booklet, we would of been lost and frustrated.
The first Co-op mission was fine, but we had difficulties on aiming the guns and actually trying to interact with the 'interact menu', which possibly made some noise and then alerting guards. In the game, disabling turrets and cameras with the emp fire on your pistol was very hard as well. Holding a gun straight is near to impossible unless you have a board to hold your hand up without it being tired. I also found a glitch where I took out a gun and it began to rapidly fire on it's own without me even touching the remote. The camera control in the game screwed me up from playing right 90% of the time. The controller was very motion sensitive and after playing with the major flaws of the controller, the game becomes easily irritating and boring.
Countless puzzles that make it impossible with the Wii controller without sounding off the alarms for making a mistake, sucky camera controls, frustratingly bad touchy motion sensitive movements, and increasingly hard co-op games that will most likely start an arguement with your friend because of the bad controls. The graphics were fair in the game, but if you happen to have a 360, you'd be better off getting this installment for it. If you still wish to play it for Tom Clancy's sake, then I recommend renting this game only and beating it. Overall, this game was just too hard, easily boring, and sucky controls for me. Now someone else might not think this, but then again this is my only opinion.
Sam Fisher is back!

It sure seemed like the Splinter Cell games came tumbling out of Ubisoft all at once: Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory, Double Agent. Out of those three, Chaos Theory was clearly the pinnacle. That was and is the best Splinter Cell title to date.
But a not-too distant second would have to go to Double Agent. This must have been a terribly complex game for the developers to make, simply due to the branching paths of the story that YOU get to decide. Sam is thrust into the seedy underworld, and must use his wits to stay alive. Lives of innocent people also factor into every decision he makes. Will Sam be too good at thwarting dastardly schemes, thus giving his identity away, or will he be able to navigate the treacherous minefield of gray area decision making, thus staving off his enemies' questions another day?
You decide. ;)

This game is great. The controls are difficult at first but they become easier with time. There is a learning curve.Don't listen to the other people complain about the control, those people expect things to be easy. I would say that aiming is much easier than resident evil 4. The game is fun and easy to use and the interactive controls make it that much better. The only down side is that the plot and game is not as long as the x-box versoin. I have beaten the game several times over and I have no problem with the controls.
Fun game!

I'm new to video games and found this game entertaining. I especially like the 2-player mode. It's really cool trying to figure out how to work together as a team while not getting spotted. Very pleased with purchase.
Better Than I Expected (Seriously)

When I first heard that they were making a Splinter Cell game for the Wii, I was totally exited. But then I started thinking how the controls were gonna work and I started to get worried. Once I popped the game in, I was extremely surprised at how well the game worked. I thought that the controls would be real jumpy or unresponsive, but they worked great. The game itself is also well done. The enemies have great AI which was not too easy or too hard. The story is also a great one. Like other games that came before it, you control the story line, making decisions that could benefit the mission or not. If you liked the previous Splinter Cell games, you will definitly like this one.
