I had been waiting for this game to be released for ages. I am a HUGE fan of the console version, and I couldn't wait to be able to take the game with me. I couldn't be more disappointed! First of all, the game play is way more difficult. Unlike the console version, there are curbs and other boundaries preventing you from driving anywhere you want. It's very hard to see where to go, and exteremly easy to get lost (which costs you valuable time). There's no save feature, instead you have to write down passwords, which to me is a bit primitive considering most GBA games have save options. Finally, there are NO SIMPSONS VOICES!! I know that the advance can easily reproduce voices, and I think the Simpsons tag lines make up over half the fun of the game. I hate to say it, but this game could not be more of a letdown...d'oh!!

Disappointing.

A number of months ago, my friend and I were playing on my friend's Playstation 2. My friend had just gotten The Simpsons: Road Rage, and I must say it was the best PS2 game I ever played. So when I saw the game was available for GameBoy Advance, I got really excited. So, I bought it and played it, and boy was I disappoited! The graphics weren't as good, there was no talking at all, it was a lot harder to control, there are a bunch of annoying things you can't drive on, the locations are smaller, and there are a bunch of other problems with the game. Get the PS2 version, not the GameBoy Advance version.

If you played the funny and charming version of this
on the playstation II and expect this to be anything at
all like it forget it! The opening screen is identical but
the game itself is a nightmare of a comparison. This
does not have any of the qualities of the playstion version.
No funny comments, no where to pick anyone up. It is
just like pole position with a funnier looking driver.
BORING, SNOOZE, my 7 year old daughter hates it and
wants her money back, no refunds on open games.

I highly enjoyed the Playstation 2 version of Simpson's Road Rage because of the massive environments, huge amount of voiceovers, and wonderful driving physics. So, when I heard about the GBA version, I knew I just had to get it. But, when I finally did, I was in a state of disappointment. Radical Entertainment didn't develop this version like they did with the console games, which is a shame. This game has the same plot as the console games: Drive around the area and pick up passengers to help pay to buy the bus system back from Mr. Burns. Unfortunately, the passenger's destinations are too far from the road making it harder to find where you have to drop them off. There are no famous locations from the show like the school, Moe's Tavern, or the hospital. Instead, all the passengers get dropped off on flat territory with a square target painted on it. The closer to the center of the target, the better your score. Also missing are the voiceovers. The characters look poor, but the car models are decent and the road scrolling isn't bad. The music is cheesy synthesized jazzy stuff that gets on your nerves. The password system icons consist of Simpsons characters. The drawback to this is that if you don't know anything about the cast of the show, it's harder to remember the password. Overall, you're better off getting the Playstation 2 version now available for $20 or less.

After the second day of playing this game, i never played it again. All you do is go around picking up people and dropping them off at places. Another thing about it is i Don't like typing in passwords, so that was a negitive.

The Stinkiest game ever!

Hello. My name is Mike Roch. I am 9 years old. I got this game for my wife's anniversary present, and 2 days later she divorced with me. The graphics are ok, the sound is weird, and the horn of the car is depressing. I only played becuz I ticked off the passenger. Now, does anyone know what 5+5=? Long story short, only Sadamm Houseen would buy this game! Don't buy it!!!!!!!!!!

Worse than the other versions...

This game is limited to a few of the main characters, the land is flat and you dont need to hear the voices, that is one thing that's good. Even though it has a better ending than the PS2,Xbox,Gamecube... it still leaves you with nothing. Doesnt leave you with that "Woohoo!" feeling after beating it. Another thing I hate is the fact that this game was on the Game Boy Advance and was almost better than the other versions but not by much.

This is a somewhat fun game. Whatever you do do not be deceived by the pictures at the top of the screen, the graphics are horrible. It can be a fun game if you enjoy Crazy Taxi(which I do), but to tell the truth, it is overrated. A big con is that if you get $1 million you win the game and there is nothing else to play for, and there is no reason to come back and play it.
