Just plain fun!

Armed and Dangerous is just plain fun. Pure and simple. From the moment you start the game, you're running through worlds and blowing up stuff left and right. With a compliment of crazy guns (Shark gun- sends out a land shark to eat your enemies, Topsy Turvy weapon- turns the world upside down, etc.) you're in for a stitch-in-your-side, laugh-until-you-cry gameplay experience. The cutscenes will have you rolling on the floor too and even the idle saylines by your buddies are hilarious ("Q, do you ever run out of ammo?" "No, never." "Me neither. Weird isn't it? I reload sometimes but I have limitless ammo. It's creepy!"

While it's not the prettiest game on the market now, who cares! The most important thing is that it's FUN! All the weapons have their own satifying results so you hardly get bored with just shooting one kind of gun. You'll want to use all of them! The AI is decent enough and make for great kills.

Finally, and this is very cool of Planet Moon and Lucas Arts, you can download levels at a later time through Xbox Live! That's right, Planet Moon will release a number of levels for you to download and play! Awesome! Thank you, thank you, thank you Planet Moon and Lucas Arts for making such a great and fun game.

So if I were you, I'd go get this game! It's worth every penny!

Armed, Dangerous, and FUN

This game is about one thing: fun. It is outrageous, it has very unrealistic weapons (Shark gun, world's smallest black hole, etc.", and it has a ragtag group known as the Lionhearts. I'm not sure how far through the game I am at this point, but I can't put it down. The jet pack missions are just awesome.

The game won't win any awards for graphics, but they do the trick. No complaints there. The voice work is some of the best I've ever heard. And the sound is top-notch.

The cut-scenes that move the story along are a treat...parodying star wars among other things.

If you just wanna play an old-school, blast 'em up game, this is it. I highly recommend this one.

Dangerously Funny

The best part of this game is the comedy. With great cut scenes and funny qoutes in game play. Plus, the wacky weapons you get to use. The game play is also good, using a third person shooter style, but more like a first person, in that you don't lock onto a target, but you aim manually, just from a third person view. I recommend this game to all ages (the only reason it's T is because it uses guns, but these are mostly unrealistic and funny, plus the enemies are robots and what seem to be over grown armadillos), as there is comedy for all ages, and the controls are easy to use, but the game can be tough.

I got this game just today and BOY is it fun and Funny( Even my dad was laughing). I'm used to the British humor so its very funny. Weapons are great too, ahhh the LandShark Gun! You no what i think im going to go play it now!

Creatively Awesome Game That Is Fun To Play

This is a really, really great game. The story is so entertaining that you can't wait to get through the levels to see what the four heroes are going to do next! I can't even bring myself to sell this one even after playing through it for the third time. The weaponry alone makes this game more than a bargain. Using the different weapons there is a variety of ways to win the different levels. My favorite has to be the landshark gun. Also, there is over an hour of cutscene movies over the 21 levels. There are also bonus missions that get unlocked as you play through the game. This is a definite keeper for the serious "death and destruction" player. Here's hoping for a sequel with multiplayer.

I've read over the other reviews regarding Armed and Dangerous and each will detail some flaw in the game and then go on to say "Who cares the game was great." I believe that this is the essence of great PC gaming: when the experience as a whole outweighs the sum of it's parts and something that the industry as a whole should finally catch onto!

Too often we see gorgeous games that are just as boring as hell to play(Dungeon seige anyone?) Armed and dangerous is Fun. It doesn't have forty different guns because you don't need them. Sniper rifle, machine gun with a generous clip a rocket launcher and a Landshark gun for laughs. What else do you need?

I think a multiplayer will be released soon enouigh and if the developer is smart, they'll make it a free download. A&D II should be great fun.

PLay this game! I laughed out loud more than once! You will too.

A nice surprise – A shooter with a funny story

Play as the character Roman accompanied by his two friends: complete a series of missions across 5 lands to find the Book of Rule and reverse the Evil Curse upon the Land. This game is a solid shooter with very creative and entertaining weapons and equipment to accomplish your goals. Controls and aiming are well implemented for a challenging experience which allows the player to improve their skills throughout the campaign. The story is truly funny with some good laugh out loud momments. Almost every combat scenario is interleaved with a cutscene giving the player a rest and a chuckle. Fans of Monty Python and South Park will appreciate this humor. It is hard to put this game down once you have started. The graphics are great with only rare frame rate issues. The sound work promotes a great sense of immersion and the music is perfect all the way through – I actually played the whole campaign with the music at 100% volume. There are no weak spots in this game. The replay value is moderate: Try to find all the tokens, the cheats, and try to complete the campaign with the difficulty setting turned up. I really enjoyed this game. Parental Guide: age 18 and over for extreme violoence.

i receviced Armed and Dangerous last christmas as one of my gifts from my big brother and its a super game. Armed and Dangerous is a game that is based on a series of missions. In the missions you will have to do tasks like destory stuff with bombs. But theres more to the game than just that. A.A.D. has fanstic graphics. Great Control. Great Anamations. Great cut sceens. You can blow up certion buildings and if there are enemies in windows they will get instictlly die. I find it cool that you can blow up buildings with you gun. You are not alone in the game because the main chachter has 2 friends that join in the action. Overall heres how I rate A.A.D. 300 Stars. Thanks.

this is un doubtedly one of the GREATEST games around.When I first saw the game I thought it looked pretty bad, so I went to lucasarts.com to learn more about it,after learning some more about it,it looked fairly decent and I bought it a gamestop for a generous price of 8 dollars and was in great condition. Not only does it have great action, but is armed with a excellent sense of humor, this game got a 9-10 from xbox's official magazine and got the game of the week award! this is guarenteed to make your adrenelin pumping and keep you laughing at every cutscene and every remark the characters say.and once you beat it, it's not over yet, repaly the levels to find tokens that unlock new levels, and cheats. The fun never ends!

+ rich plot

+ great characters

Armed and Dangerous is a great game. The story is okay, but the main point of buying this game is for the humor and destroying everything in sight. The weapons are crazy and destructive. For example, The Shark Gun is the scenes from Jaws into a gun. The big letdowns are that there is no multiplayer and you can only play as one character while you have a whole squad. This game is still really good. You should buy it.
