Fun game. A lot of good challenges. Each person has there own special attacks & defenses. Good multiplayer game. A game that works for the Wii. The training mode shows button pushes for the classic controller and would be better if it also showed the wii remote. I suggest using the training mode to play with the buttons on the wii remote & numchuck. Wish the game book had a better guide seems to been designed for the game cube. But overall the game is a lot of fun.
Naruto is good because of the 4 player mode

It has an issue regarding the missions... They tend to be boring sometimes. On the upside, there are new characters and you can play it with game cube controls
Great fun

My son and I have a blast playing this game. I think it makes very good use of the wii controllers. Also the different characters have unique moves with strengths and weaknesses to make game play continuously interesting.

It's great fun being able to play as characters from the Naruto series and this is a very solid game with no glitches that I have come across.
While this game doesn't have a ton of depth (I wish there were more playable characters in particular), I have a great time playing this with my 6 year old son and sometimes we even play as a family with my wife and 3 year old daughter as well.
If you're a fan of the Naruto series, have a Nintendo Wii, and have people you enjoy playing with, you will almost certainly enjoy this game.
I would have given this game a 4.5 based on the game alone, but rounded up to a 5 because of the added fun of being able to play with characters from a show my family really enjoys.
Needs more training to become a good fighter

The Naruto series of games will most likely evolve along the lines of the Dragon Ball series of game, which is a good thing. This fighter, while frantic and fun at times, is not quite a mature fighting game yet.
Pro's:
-Almost all of your favorite characters from the series.
-Many signature jutsu's present and with interesting animations.
-While simplified, combat and combo system are responsive and characters are evenly balanced.
Con's:
-Oversimplified controls leads to stale gameplay. What good is 20 characters if they all control the same? Only two attack buttons and a single button for jutsu's make each fighter feel the same.
-Story mode is simplified and rather dissapointing. If you liked the series, the story mode is a bad retelling of it, and if you're new to the series, the story mode won't give you any of the excitement the show does. At least the DBZ games make more effort to include the action of the show in the story mode.
-Jutsu's are dissapointing and add little strategy. Each character usually has one jutsu, accomplished by pressing one button, which connects in the same way, with an initial strike needing to land. No jutsu's used as a counter (Shikamaru or Naruto's rasengan would be ideal for this,) No long distance jutsu's (Temari and Tenten would be ideal for this,) no projectile jutsu's (Kankuro's poison needles? nope. Gaara's sand shuriken? nope.) Everybody needs to get in close and land their jutsu like a punch. Boring.
-No depth of game play.
Clash of Ninja Revolution is too oversimplified to be anything but a rental. The initial fun of pounding out simple combos and jutsu's and unlocking new characters dissapears once you realize that the characters all feel the same and have the same strategies: bang away with preset combo's till your meter is full then add a jutsu at the end of a combo to win. Even the special missions where you need to finish an oppenent with a specific move can be accomplished in one or two tries.
Overall, fighting game fans will find this to be cotton candy, not a nice juicy steak.

This is the first Naruto game to play and I was pleased with what I got. The gameplay was excellent, sound and graphics were okay. Too bad they didn't have more characters, but it was so much fun playing and unlocking charcters and missions. This is a must have for any Naruto Fan.

My sons and I really enjoyed the Gamecube Naruto game that came out before this one, and waited impatiently for this one to come out. After having it for a while, I can tell you that the game play is fairly similiar to the gamecube version, which is a good thing. There are some new Jutsus for the characters, and of the 20 characters available, about half are new. Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kisame, Itachi, Tenten are some of the new characters that spring to mind. You don't get the characters by earning money like in the previous game, but by beating different modes of the game with different characters.
The other innovation of the game, that you can "knock" the other players all the way into a new game screen is kinda cool, but doesnt really have that much affect on the game or the way you play. We found that the Wii controllers were a little tough to get used to for doing combo moves, but since they designed this game to play with Gamecube controllers as well we have just been using those instead.
Very cool game...would have like a few more characters and innovations in gameplay, but its a solid game as it is that we should play for a long time (or until they come out with a Naruto Shippuden version)
