Sid Meiers Pirates is great. It has high play value and it can be designed to the individual who is playing.

this is still one of the greatest RPGs ever made. completely open eneded you really choose the fate of the character. i remember playing the very first version on commodore 64 but when they came out with new versions for PC and PSP i was amazed, and playing them made me fall in love with this game all over again, and its improved so much its actually a form of crack. still good classic fun and now its on handheld so it makes those long flights a lot more enjoyable.

I am not great at video games like the Mario group. If it requires a lot of hand eye coordination it is no fun for me. I loved this game. It is all about the shooting and the logic not how good your eyes are. I can play this one to the end. I can enjoy this one to the end. That makes it fun. The fact that it is something that interests me greatly (Pirates) makes it even better.

The design of the game is cute. There are ports. You travel around in your ship. Find ports or other ships. Kill the other ships. Take them over. Basically do pirate stuff.

Buy it.

Although I have slight issue with the specific store through which I ordered this game, I am assured by the beauty for whom it was purchased that it is indeed quite a cute game and well worth the effort.

Sid Meier's Pirates captures all of the excitment of captaining a ship in the 1800 and 1900 centeries. During the game, you live the life of an upcoming pirate leader in the caribean. conquering and plundering enemy ships are just a miniscule sample of what you'll get to do throughout the course of Sid Meier's Pirates. You can siege towns, find buired treasure and move up the rankings of the top ten pirates on the seas. There are also many little stories or missions in this game but none of which are timed. Overall Sid Meier's Pirates is a fascinating, Fun and Injoyable game for many mouths on end. I strongly recomend Sid Meier's Pirates for the PSP.

Horrible game that doesn't really involve the player. Unless you are a fan of this classic series. A parent...or other must realize that it is a choose your own adventure...and sit by waiting for the results. It's one of those terrible PC games that gained popularity and has misrepresented its marketing towards the PSP.

I remembered playing this game years ago on my old cable company's "Sega Channel" so I just had to pick it up for the PSP.
It is hard for me to put it down, I love it.

PSP Daxter Entertainment Pack - Ice Silver The game was a lot of fun for my 14 year old, who said that while the graphics aren't as detailed as the console version, they still did a very good job of porting the game to the PSP. He said they still maintained all the elements that made the console game entertaining and he would recommend it highly.
